Food was excellent. We had the Texas dip, chicken salad sandwich, and chicken tenders basket. They were all delicious. We will definitely be back the next time we stay at Fort Boggy State Park.

Pecan Grove Cafe is one of the best kept small town secrets! We make it a priority to stop by when we are headed to our land in Leona. Not only is the food really great, but the staff is so friendly! Jamie and Erica keep the front of house running and they do a really great job! The menu includes a variety of Texas favorites including chicken fried steak, chicken fingers, burgers, etc. My husband loves their Texas dip and my personal favorite is their delicious chicken salad sandwich on a jalapeno bun - delish! Since everything is made fresh and limited, make sure you order your dessert first ... highly recommend the pecan cobbler ... but leave some for everyone else!

Loved it, service was great food was delicious. I'm not a sweet tea drinker, but I gave it a shot. Very good, by the way. If we are ever in the area, we are stopping by. Also, the peach cobbler with ice cream is awesome.

Nice day to take a motorcycle ride from Texas City/League City 150 miles to Pecan Grove Cfe on old Hwy 75. Got there early, but was allowed to use the restroom. The four of us sat down, at 11:00 am, Jamie and Erica started to serve our teas, took our orders, three of us ordered the patty melt, one with bacon, then fourth ordered the sirloin. All of our meals were very delicious, well worth the ride. We all ordered steak strips for the ride home and I had the pecan cobbler to go. The atmosphere was very good inside, Jamie and Erica took care of us. Including tips, I left a $2 bill for them and the two cooks.

Rustic but clean and organized. Not a huge menu but a nice variety. My table of 6 seemed happy with their choice. Kudo's to the ultimate burger. Delicious to the last bite.
Parking: Can be challenging to park during peak hours. The customers don't seem to mind.
Wheelchair accessibility: The place is wheelchair accessible. Slight hump at threshold but not impossible. More than 1 person came to assist a lady.

We travel back roads from Houston TX to Rockwall TX about once a month. We will adjust our travel time in order to eat at The Pecan Grove Café for lunch. Their steak fingers are one of our "order every time we go" items. We have tried their hamburgers, chicken salad sandwich and Texas dip sandwich. All are amazing. Definitely need to take a detour off of I45 and experience The Pecan Grove Café. Did I mention they have blackberry cobbler?

We stumbled here looking for a good place to eat on our way to Galveston, only a 10 minute detour off the highway. The staff was so kind, and attentive. The food was absolutely wonderful that I wish I lived closer to eat here everyday. I will definitely stop here every time we drive through now!
