Tellez Taqueria is a great restaurant. The staff are incredibly friendly and personable, the service is very fast and and the quality of food definitely beats florentinas. As far as Mexican restaurants go in Leonard, this is the best one.

It was my first time here, i ordered the brisket tacos. Our waiter explained what and how the tacos were dressed. He knew the menu and double checked to make sure our order was complete and correct. This is a small, quite place, with the best food. Definitely gonna go back soon

Excellent food, the only thing is that the menu does not show everything they prepare for food, so I want to upload a photo and you can see that there are several stews they have, I thought there were only 5 different ones and the truth is that there are many more and the tortillas handmade, ? recommended ?

New place recommended for authentic Mexican food. Was good , had the birria tacos, would have been better served with the birria broth. My wife had the burrito, it was solid, and the beef was good.

Please don't pass this place up because it's small. It is fabulous and tastes incredibly fresh. The owner is exceptionally kind. He was so patient with me as I asked him to explain the ingredients. In Texas, we have a lot of Mexican restaurants to choose from but I now have a new favorite. IT'S SO GOOD!
First time to eat here! Tried the taco pastor plate! Was really good. Warm chips and good salsa. Wife had barbacoa and chicken tinga. Son had a quesadilla. Was really good!

This place has not only perfected the Chile Relleno but any soup on the menu is fantastic. Best breakfast burrito you can eat. Salsa is the bomb!
