I come here almost every week, and this is hands down one of the best teriyaki spots around.
The food is always delicious and consistent. The teriyaki is perfectly cooked, flavorful without being too heavy, and the ingredients taste fresh every time. The portion sizes are very generous for the price, which makes this place an incredible value.
On top of that, the quality is excellent — you can tell they really care about what they serve. Nothing feels rushed or sloppy.
The owner and his wife are extremely kind, friendly, and welcoming. Their warm service truly sets this place apart and makes you want to keep coming back. They always make customers feel appreciated.
The restaurant is clean, comfortable, and has a relaxed, cozy atmosphere, perfect for a casual meal or takeout.
If you’re looking for authentic, satisfying teriyaki with great portions, fair prices, and outstanding service, this is the place. Highly recommended!

I ate for the first time yesterday and today I have severe food poisoning. The chicken was cold and may have been undercooked. It was teriyaki chicken.

I am so upset because I come here all the time and today they disappointed me. I order two rolls and a salad. My absolute favorite thing here is the salad dressing that they make homemade and when I ordered I told them to put extra dressing. When I got home not only was there not extra dressing the salad didn't have any dressing AT ALL. I was so upset. The rolls were ok - I think they didn't taste as great because I was so upset about the dressing. I called the restaurant to tell them my ToGo order (Under name Tatyanny) was wrong and about the dressing the lady told me I can't understand you, you're cutting out. I repeated myself and then she said oh no hold on...... and then later said hold on what did you say you're cutting out again. After repeating myself again for the 3rd time I gave up and just hung up. Clearly they didn't want to help

I have been coming here for 2+ years now. I think I have tried almost everything g on the menu at this point and there is not one thing on the menu I have not like. The food tastes amazing. The owner is super friendly and treats me and my friends like family every time we come. Love the atmosphere. Very modern and really clean. They play the best music and definitely family friendly. The other day I was in there 2 separate families with littles walked in and the little immediately recognized the owner Julia. Julia, Richard and the staff always make it a point to remember who you. My favorites are the Salmon Poke bowl, the chicken katsu and the Excalibur roll! Love this place is my #1 go to Korean fusion restaurant 😋

206 Luster Grill is a place that I would normally drive past and pay no attention to. However, I was craving some Katsu Curry Rice and, well, as I looked around google maps it said that they had it on their menu.
Ultimately, this would be a massive stroke of luck as not only was their Katsu Curry Rice amazing but I also ordered their Potato Croquette appetizer.
First thing is first, the Chef Julia Kwon states that she had begun her culinary journey in Seattle, Washington - however it seems she has adapted to the DFW area quite quickly as the portions of her dishes are Texas-sized, hearty, and filled with complex flavors despite their simple ingredients.
The Katsu Curry Rice:
The Katsu in the Curry Rice was still crispy throughout my dining experience despite it being coated in the Curry sauce. Additionally, it is filled to the brim with Potatoes, Carrots, and Onions that compliment the Curry sauce. The Curry itself is a fine balance between a Korean and Japanese Curry - as the curry itself is not as sweet as Japanese Curry yet retains the depth and flavor reminiscent of a Japanese Curry.
The Potato Croquette:
2-pieces of mashed and deep-fried potato that is packed with various vegetables such as green peas and carrots. However, despite it being deep-fried it was not oily and retained it's crunchy texture despite me purposely letting one sit until the end of my meal. Served with a sweet sauce that compliments the croquette.
The Staff and Service:
Chef Kwon and the 206 Staff made sure that every customer was happy and enjoying their dining experience. Tables were cleaned with haste so as to retain a clean environment and the vibes were immaculate.
Overall 206 Luster Grill was a pleasant surprise. If you're craving some Asian Fusion this place is exactly what you're looking for. I'm couldn't tell you how glad I am that I had randomly stumbled into this place. Will for sure visit again and update my review with photo's whenever possible.

I absolutely love this location. I’ve been coming here 2 to 3 times a week. The food and atmosphere are amazing. Today I was at the register with my son and my family ordering there was a nice young lady taking my order. All of a sudden the owner comes up to the cash register and says I got it jumped right in had a loud voice because she didn’t understand what I was ordering. She kept saying well you don’t want this. You don’t want that if she would’ve jumped in in the middle of my conversation with the other employee as rudely as she did, we wouldn’t have gotten to that point. She raised her voice got really rude and I explained to her this is what I order every time I come in. She goes well that guy‘s not here today it’s not what you say. It’s how you say things to people. She was very rude. Very upsetting because I really love this place.

I honestly did not expect this place to hit the way it did. This teriyaki spot is a sister company to the same teriyaki place I grew up eating at as a kid in Renton, WA, my hometown.
I have not had real Seattle teriyaki in years and one bite instantly brought me back. I had straight up flashbacks of going here with my sisters and my buddies in high school. The flavor, the sauce, the portions, it all felt exactly the way I remembered.
Living in Texas, I never thought I would get that kind of teriyaki again, but this place delivered. It brought back so many memories and honestly made my day.
Plus Julia and the staff are awesome!
I found my new gem. If you love teriyaki, this is the spot.
