I enjoy how the food feels both comforting and creative.
I appreciated the fast seating.
Lighting was comfortable, not too dim.
I was looking forward to a float, but count not get service we waited 20 minutes and nobody came to the counter. Someone in the back looked at us 3 times and just ignored us. Went to the restrooms and both of the toilets were clogged.

We decided to try this place out on a whim. When I was young A&W Restaurants kicked out tasty food and of course their record holding, world class Root Beer. So, I went online, and we looked at the menu and had it all figured out what we wanted. We drove 15 minutes to the closest A&W Restaurant to us. A&W Root Beer is still as good as it was when I was a kid. The Onion Rings and French Fries are good. But from there on let me set the picture. This is not an A&W Restaurant. As a franchise, they do not serve the menu listed on A&W Restaurants' national website. I often wonder who at the Corporate of A&W Restaurants draws up the contracts. They obviously never learned the meaning of “Brand Identification.” Because being fair this is not the only Franchise we have run into that does the same thing. There are a lot of them. So, we regrouped, and I ordered the Cheeseburger Combo, and my wife had the Bacon Cheeseburger Combo. We did our best to eat them but upon much discussion we both agreed that having tried every fast-food burger there is in Texas, that we know, these two burgers were by far the worst burgers we had ever eaten. There was plenty of meat, but it was tasteless with no flavor at all, and my wife said she believed it was old hamburger meat to boot. My nose is not that good. The bun was untoasted and became soggy due to excessive sauce and wet toppings, causing it to fall apart. And that was before we picked them up out of the wrapper. It was absolutely a total waste of money. It was right at $25.00 for both of our Combo meals. The Restaurant itself was clean, and counter staff was competent if not overly friendly. I do not know how the KFC rates, which is also part of this building but other than the Root Beer, Fries, and Onion Rings, stay away from A&W. You will be disappointed. We sure were. We give them two out of five stars, and it is Root Beer, Fries, and Onion rings that rate that much.

The girls running the counter are doing no hand backflips to keep that food coming & the customers happy.
Half the customers I saw may have been demons, speaking to those girls like they were dogs. If I had more $ or charity to spare I would shovel it into this location for those girls alone.
Order was perfect, customer service outstanding.

Horrible spot!!! The free brewed rootbeers they only filled the glasses up 1/2 way and I got 2 large rootbeer freezes and they only filled them up 3/4 of the way and there were thinner then just rootbeer. They nearly put ice cream in them. When I said something they just looked at me! I will never ever be back

Visiting the area and was at the Target which shares a parking lot with many buildings one of which is this A&W / KFC. I can't remember the last time I visited an A&W. I had the Bacon Cheeseburger combo with a root beer. They make the root beer in-house and it's delicious. It was a decent burger. I'd go again just for the root beer which they sell by the gallon I believe.
Food was ready as soon as I received my receipt. So that was great. Fries were great; fresh and crispy. My root beer freeze was not the texture of a frosty or shake, it was very runny which is not like the photos. Basically, they didn't blend it well or add enough ice cream. When I bit into the hot dog, the bread was not fresh, it seemed like it was microwaved because it was really tough to chew. Overall, I expected this because this is the issue when hispanics take over American restaurants. They just do not care about quality of how Americans make American dishes and desserts.
The food is excellent, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. I understand that it is a fast-paced job, but service is also important.

The flamboyant hispanic man that works there is incredibly rude, I don’t know how to else to describe him. He acted like my presence and asking for napkins and for my float to be made with actual ice cream was just a complete burden of him. His job is a complete to burden him, that is beyond obvious. I will never be returning to this store.
