I tried the ghee karam idly and it tastes so bad. It smells bad and too sour. Not soft at all.

Tried the breakfast items and it was delicious. Pongal with vada was the best.

I always went there just for the tea, but they shrunk the large cup to less than half the previous size and still charge full price. When I mentioned I ordered a large, they said this tiny 4-ounce cup is the new large.
This place makes the whole area smell so bad. Was better before all these type of restaurants started moving over here. 🤢🤢.

I visited this restaurant recently and was a bit disappointed with the food quality. The dishes lacked flavor and freshness, and the overall taste was not what I expected based on the reviews. The staff were polite and the ambiance was decent, but the food definitely needs improvement. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback positively and works on enhancing the flavors and quality.

Restaurantji Recommends
Visited today and the experience was honestly disappointing.
First, the website still shows a buffet, but when I reached they said it’s only on weekends. They should update this — it’s basic customer honesty.
Then the pricing made no sense:
Buffet = $8.99
One plate idly = $8.99
How is that even logical?
On top of that, service was bad. I told them my name clearly, but they called out something completely different — not even close. It showed zero attention and zero customer support.
Overall, taste didn’t match the price, quality was poor, and the service made the experience worse.
Not a place I would recommend
If I could rate this place –100000000%, I would. For the price they charge, you can easily eat at places that give 6–7 different items, crazy taste, and real value. Here?
$14 for nothing.
One single item, no quality, no quantity, and absolutely no taste.
I’m not saying price is the issue — a restaurant can charge anything. But if you charge that much for a single item, then at least give something better than other places. Here, the food was worse, the value was zero, and the pricing made no sense.
There are plenty of restaurants that offer way better food, more items, and real taste for the same or even lower price.
I honestly don’t prefer this location at all.

Had a wonderful experience here. The Mysore bonda was delicious — perfectly crispy, made with less oil, and paired with unique, tasty chutneys that really stood out. The highlight, though, was the Irai chai, easily one of the best I’ve had.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fresh, flavorful South Indian breakfast!
