My first time eating there. I wanted Italian so bad and it was kinda late. I ended up making it there 30 minutes before they closed but the staff was so nice and greeted me with smiles.
I ordered the seafood D’Nonna and not only did it taste well but the plate looked very nice. (Normally when you go to a restaurant a little before it closes, you don’t always get the best service). But this place was the complete opposite.
It’s a cute set up as well. Definitely will eat there again. ❤️

Visited the Western Days Festival in downtown Lewisville Texas to support my competitive eating champions Alex” Moose” Perez.
While waiting on the event, we popped in to State 28 Kitchen and Cocktails. Small draft domestic beers were 11 bucks , grilled cheese sandwich was 16 bucks! French fries were cold and flavorless ! Took two bites and kicked it to the side! It sucked so bad I got to stepping and walked 2 blocks and found this place D’Nonna . It was a pleasant surprise! Sat at the bar and was met by a lovely bartender named Rose! She asked what I’d like and I replied, “ Any beer that’s not 11 bucks” !! Michelob ultra in a bottle is 5 bucks she said! She had me at hello! . Dbl shot of Bulleit Rye and I was content! 20 bucks and and a 5 dollar tip and I was on my way. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Great prices and a menu that was not out of range for the “ regular “ people. They have great reviews and I’ll definitely be back. New places that are opening and have outrageous pricing and terrible food with poor customer service are destined to die young! I love this place and recommend you stopping in and say hi to Rose! Five stars for D’Nonna ! Downtown Lewisville Texas hidden gem!

Love this place! Roma made me feel right at home. She made me a great cocktail. I started with a Cesar Salad, perfect, then had a Margarita Pizza from their wood fired oven. Loved it! I will definitely be back and hope who ever reads this joins me.

Went today 9/16/25 for lunch. We were the only customers in the place. Maybe customers know something because the food was terrible. We ordered Spaghetti with meatball (Only got one), Chicken Parmigiano & Fettuccine Alfredo & added grilled chicken. I ate 3 bites of the Fettuccine & it was so salty that I couldn't eat it & the chicken was not plump & looked like jerky. The Spaghetti sauce & meatball was no better either. The chicken Parmigiano was thin & not juicy at all. Never been here before & will not go again. Very small portions for the money & terrible tasting food. I usually eat most of my food when we dine out, but we left hungry because it was that bad. Waitress asked if we liked our food & I told her how bad it was and all she said is sorry.

First time trying D’Nonna!
Atmosphere: 8/10 exactly what I want for a cute date night with my husband. Cozy, cute, well decorated, romantic. Loved every bit of it.
My only wish is that the patio was more inviting, the curb appeal was not there for us. Overgrown weeds, and just neglected. Had we not heard this place was good, we would have went somewhere else. BUT it is Texas so it’s understandable the patio wasn’t taken care of because nobody is eating outside during Texas summer lol. The unfortunate part is that the patio is in the front, so even though it isn’t being used, it’s the first thing you see when you park. With the weather cooling down, hopefully the patio will get revamped bc I would LOVE a glass of wine with some food on the patio and crisp fall weather.
Food: 9/10 if we didn’t get the jalepeno poppers, it would have been 10/10. The poppers were mediocre. Nothing special. Wouldn’t get again, they weren’t bad, just not memorable.
I got the chicken martini and my husband got the meat lovers pizza. We shared and OMG. Both were amazing!!! Pizza crust was elite, perfect toast on the bottom and you can feel the flour when you pick it up. (Sounds weird but if you eat a lot of pizza, you know what I mean lol. We love the slightest bit of flour on the bottom)
Chicken martini- weird name. Not gonna lie lol but it was soooo delicious. My only wish is it had more chicken but obviously that would make the cost higher. So all in all, it was awesome!
Service- The best. She was so sweet and attentive.
We can’t wait to go back and try something new there.

This five stars is for the place next door. I went there and it’s no doubt amazing. Awesome food, free refills, it is not very much people but that’s why I am writing a review! Please come here and the food was very good. It’s a Mexican place and it tastes awesome. Authentic food, good drinks, cool vibes. Come here it’s amazing. What a beautiful lovely place with amazing Italian food and exceptional service. Rose took great care of us. Very good wine list, that night they even had one of our favorite dry French reds, Louis Jadot Beaujolais-Villages. Everything we ordered was delicious and just perfect. Thank you!!!

The pizza was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked in a wood oven, with that authentic flavor you can’t beat. The pasta was incredible too, fresh and full of flavor. Great quality food and a place I’d definitely come back to!

Canned chicken, room temp wine, empty fried raviolis... sad food, sad paito (we sat inside) and it was clear why it was empty in a friday night! For a $100 meal, felt like I could of saved and made it better at home!

My experience with Italian places is simple. Can you make a good grilled chicken Caesar salad and basic chicken marsala. This place fell short. Chicken was pre grilled and reheated. Chicken marsala should never be drowning in sauce
