Last Sunday night, our merry band of six ventured into uncharted culinary territory for the first time. Among our ranks were three proud descendants of Italian lineage, one of whom boasting a family history seasoned with 30 years of running an Italian eatery in Chicago. We were utterly smitten with everything D’Nonna had to offer: the delectable food, the charming ambiance, and the delightful management. Two thumbs up, five-star, would highly recommend this gastronomic gem!

Below average service. Food was unremarkable save for the table bread and marinara. The silver lining is the ambience and atmosphere.

Very nice, yet casual, Italian restaurant in downtown Lewisville, TX. Very good food, fantastic wait staff and affordable prices. We really enjoyed going here and would go back if the opportunity presents itself again.Recommend this family owned restaurant.Vegetarian options: I think they can make many dishes vegetarian or vegan if you asked them to.Dietary restrictions: They made my Linguine Primavera without oil as requested ??????

Was really looking forward to trying the pasta here since all the reviews were great. Came on a Saturday at 5pm, only 2-3 other tables had people and the plastic table coverings didn’t match the $23 shrimp scampi and $16 spaghetti price tag. My shrimp scampi was swimming in a garlic-y soup…my bf didn’t even eat half of his.

Excellent experience at this restaurant. Came with a volleyball team and parents. The dishes are made fresh, very tasty and generous portion.

Great food! Service was a little slow… they have huge bathrooms but no changing tables! They are kid friendly and have a play area… plenty of room for changing

Finally someone gets it right here! This is now the place to come and relax, have a great meal and have wonderful and caring people serve you. We go here now at least every other week and they just keep on improving. With new specials and one of the most unexpected wine menu's around. Stop by here and see what they are going to do next!Parking: Depending on the night, easy to some nights hard with events going on in the areaKid-friendliness: Very much kid friendly!

My family and I always enjoy finding authentic, family own restaurants and D’Nonna is up there with the best in DFW. We ordered the Bruschetta, Carbonara, Chicken Marsala and a Cannoli. Everything was fresh, and delicious. They also had a play area for kids, which was great for the little ones to run around before and after eating. Owners are from New York and are so very friendly, we can’t wait to come back and tell all of our friends

I'm reviewing this based on service alone. We arrived at 5:45 on Friday and grabbed a seat at the bar. Within a few minutes we got water from a guy who we think was just working as a bar back or bus boy he mentioned it was his first day and he had just applied for a job earlier that afternoon and was told to come in and work. So we waited and waited and waited and watched the bartenders come by and make drinks for other diners and just completely ignored us for 30 minutes. So we finally left. Seemed like a great place and someday maybe we will go back and see if we can get served dinner and drinks.

The food here was great! Got the Chicken Parmigana and there wasn't a bite left on the plate. From the amazing (what seemed to be) home made bread given prior to the meal to the actual meal itself, the atmosphere, the staff, everything was perfect! 10/10 will come here again.

Had a really good time here - food, cocktails, service and music - all exceptional! Chicken Martini was perfect after a few choice appetizers - pizza etc. Desert selections were wonderful as well. Sat outside in the patio with this warm weather. Definitely will return.
