The family came here for my sister's birthday and the place was a pretty solid place to have that event. Our service was good. Our waitperson was attentive and very courteous. The food was pretty good. There is a lot better pizza than Grimaldi's in my opinion, but their pizza is solid. The ambiance is kind of brick and woodsy with glass wine bottle chandeliers. It is comfortable and almost homey.

Our favorite splurge pizza shop had to order some last Sunday and swing over to pick it up. Never dissatisfied with the quattro formagio pizza is great and I like to add the house blend Italian sausage and onions we also ordered the Don pizza you know the one, it has meatballs and pepperoni, so good. Never leave without grabbing a ricotta and spinach calazone so good you nay not even need the marinara sauce for the dipping. It's our fun date night place to go get pizza and apps, the wine selection is always good and the suggested pairings are always right on. The deserts are no joke as well. With the Frank Sinatra in the background the amazing staff and service it's an fun place and area for a date, the movie theater is in walking distance as well as cookie shop, bars, park area, stores, ice cream parlor, lots to do and see. First time here and boy this pizza did not disappoint. We got the white garlic with Italian sausage and the extra pepperoni and hot honey and both were absolutely amazing!!! We found our new pizza joint. Great service too. Cool NY vibes. (If you don't like garlic though, this may not be for you). I could eat it all day.

Take out was simple. I got the 18" traditional with pepperoni, 16" quattro fromaggi, 18" meatball calzone. Everything was great amd the pies looked good. One concern, the crust is thinner than most Grimaldi's, specifically Watter's Creek, Irving and Dallas locations. Or it might have been the heavy saucing that made it a bit soggy... like a saggy tip on a neopolotin pizza. Overall happy they have a Grimaldis near us in the Colony/Castle Hills area. The parking was adequate and the service was accomodating.

I was received by Syd who had great customer service and was very sweet. I ordered the Quattro Formaggi and two local beers (The Half Life). While I was waiting I was warmed by the coal fired oven and Sinatra buzzing in the background. I love dimly lit areas and the wine bottle chandeliers were cute. This was only my second time going to a Grimaldis and my first time at this location. Would certainly go again.

I went to this location last week and had a decent experience. Michael was the manager. I ordered to go and they forgot one of my pizzas. The cashier/waitress didnt hesitate to get the manager as soon as she identified the problem. The manager quickly had my pizza made within 10 minutes and gave me a break on the price. I appreciate the quick fix and great customer service. Im glad I can get quality pizza with great service. ?

I have been to Grimaldi's other locations so it was time to hit up the new location closer to me at Castle Hills. The first impression is a nice decor and really cool wine bottle chandeliers but they used really bright daylight bulbs in the can lights and just makes it an overly sterile bright light in the restaurant and could really use at least being swapped out for soft white lightbulbs. If you go and have never signed up for their rewards program you will get a free appetizer when you join at the time of your visit. We used it for a Mediterranean Salad. The salad portions are huge and a great value and really good! Even better tasting since it was free with the rewards certificate. The pizza is a very tasty New York style crust and was well cooked. The Don pizza is fantastic with ricotta cheese and the peppers and meatballs. I would highly suggest this pizza We went with the tiramisu for desert and was really good and a nice portion. Could the potion have been glutinously larger....always but it was great!! I highly suggest you visit!

Have stopped in a few times and really enjoy the pizza. The salads are enough for two or more wit the dressing tossed into the salad which I prefer so I do always order a salad. Open kitchen area makes it fun to watch the pizza being made. Sometimes the servers are meh, we've gone near our full meal without drink refills or a server coming back. Other times you get a great server. Not sure why that happens. The pizza is phenomenal, haven't had a bad pizza yet there and very much will be back I've only tried the tiramisu dessert and my goodness, delicious, sooo good
