First time coming here. It took a while but the guy working was by himself, taking order and cooking, and there were a lot of online orders as well- so I understand that. I ordered the sandwich with the hot spice level. The chicken was nice and crunchy on the outside, but juicy on the inside. Coleslaw was good and adds more flavor to the sandwich. I will be back, but next time will get the hella hot spice level because the hot was nothing!

I ordered my meal through Uber Eats. I ordered this at around 3:15 and it showed that 3 different people were picking it up. I finally called them and explained the situation when they told me they gave my order to someone else. I asked to speak to the manager and it sounded like a teenager saying they were the manager but wouldn’t give me a name and never apologized or offered compensation for the actions of having to wait over an hour for my meal. Then I was hung up on when I asked for his name. When I called back 3 different times they wouldn’t pick up the line and when I got my meal it was WRONG!!!! I’ve very very upset with the poor customer service on this restaurant.

Chicken is tender and juicy with the right amount of heat. Not overly breaded. The restaurant is a hole in the wall, so don't let the appearance deceive you.

What a Rip Off! Ordered the Hot Chicken Leg Quarter Combo for $9.95 and the leg quarter was not normal chicken sized but mini like a Cornish hen. For $9.95 they could at least give you a decent sized pice of chicken! Also the cole slaw side was only around 4 tablespoons worth. Would recommend you avoid this place unless you just have $s to waste!

Y'all... I don't even like chicken and I've eaten here three times in the past two weeks! The first time I had the fried catfish combo. The catfish was so flavorful and the fries were delicious!!! The next time I tried the chicken sandwich and I was hooked! So juicy!! You won't be disappointed!

Honest to God , these people here will take care of you. I'm a catfish guy and had been here plenty of times (catfish top notch btw) and i said let me try the chicken wings. Helen's have the top 5 best wings in America. Never had a bad order. Food always hot . Did i mention they wings top 5 , and they're not 5 , 4 , 3 or 2. Best wings I've had . I'm here again as i type this . Definitely need to visit if you near them in Lewisville

I really hate to leave a negative review, but this is for the customer trying this place for the first time. We like a bit of spice on our food--eat Indian regularly. But when we ordered the mild tenders, they were quite spicy. I mean, my mouth is still tingling, and my daughter couldn't finish her food. Calling these "mild" is deceiving. Sadly, it seems this was for heat alone, and there wasn't much flavor, otherwise. We brought ours home, and added season salt, and dip to give it something we could enjoy. They were also very oily, leaving a puddle in the tray. The fries also needed something, and we added our own seasoning to them. There were some pickle slices skewered into the chicken with a toothpick, which could affect the crispiness of the chicken. The service was exactly as expected. We were told it would be 15 minutes, and it was. Everything was made to order--no complaints there. It was still hot when we got it home. The chicken tenders were a decent size, and there were plenty of fries. The bread was a nice surprise. It would have been nice to have a dipping sauce offered, but fortunately we had that at home. While we waited, there were 3 screens playing loud basketball games. Not our thing, and definitely made us want our food to-go. If you want food that will burn your mouth off, while you watch sports on TV, this place is for you. It just wasn't our cup of tea.

I've been wanting to try this black owned business for awhile and it did not disappoint! The waffle was fluffy and crisp! The tenders were friend kinda hard but tasted really good! Came with hot sauce and syrup!! I'll definitely be back to try their lunch!
