we were sat next to multiple tables that had dirty dishes all over them and didnt get cleaned for over 30 minutes. also took 20 minutes to finally get.a server after asking multiple time to the hostess stand to please send someone over. we watched table after table that were sat after us get immediate attention but we did not. we did not order for 30 minutes from the time we sat down. our food also took over an hour as we watched table after table order after us get theirs. once we got the food it was very good but not worth the wait and seeing waiter after waiter ignore us. there are places that serve just as good of food but dont have to wait almost an hour and half for it.

The food was pretty good. Nothing to write home about, but it's worth a stop in if you're craving some comfort food. Just avoid the sweet tea. It essentially tasted like unsweetened tea.

We 6 for Thanksgiving dinner plus one to-go meal. We had BBQ sandwich, chicken fried steak, small filet, BBQ burnt ends and the Thanksgiving special. Everything was great. I am so sorry I can not recall our servers name but he was very good.

I got the two meat plate and I really liked the burnt ends. They had a good flavor. The Mac and cheese was really good, it was very cheesy and creamy, just how I like it! The okra was really good as well. The breading was just right, not overly cooked and it stuck to the okra well

Update added....
Veronica was a absolutely fantastic server. I was actually extremely impressed with her. My husband and I had dinner Friday night. She made us laugh. Recommended a very good appetizer. And was on top of the drinks. The Texas blueberry drink was not only beautiful but extremely good.
It's not often you get good service, good food, good drinks, and good conversation. We will be back. And absolutely request to sit in her section. What a fantastic employee. Wish I took a photo of my food and drink to share!!
Went back again for tonight dinner. Took a photo of this awesome drink. And again had the best server Veronica!!!!!! Check out this drink!

We had dinner here on a Friday night and it was a good experience. We went back for brunch the next day and found out that the Lewisville location does not serve brunch.

There was no wait at either of our visits. Service was slow on both occassions. On the Sat visit, there were less than 3 customers in the restaurant. It took a long time to get our order and when it did come it was luke warm. The server even apologized for the delay. We did not see our server again until we went to find him to get the check.

The restaurant needs some maintenance and repair. The booth we were sat in for dinner on Friday night had a damaged bench. The cushion was ripped to the point it was not comfortable to sit on.

For our Saturday morning visit, there was pools of water on the floor in the walkway area from the roof leaking. We thought someone had spilled some water and let our server know. He explained that yes, they also have leaks in the kitchen and that we should be careful to not slip. No one ever cleaned up the water or put up a hazard marker to keep someone from stepping in it.

On Sat morning, we were sat in a section outside of the hallway leading to the bathrooms. When someone opened the door to the bathroom, the odor of raw sewage was overwhelming. We were told that it is an old building and needs repairs. When it rains, the p-trap backs up. They let us know that they were expecting a plumber later in the day. The smell was so bad that we could not finishing eating nor stay in the restaurant. We had to get up and find our waiter to get the check. He did notice that we had not finished eating and asked if we wanted a to go container. We were so nauseaous from the fumes. There was no possible way we would want to eat.

I did call to talk to a manager about the experience. The response was to thank you for calling, we will use this as a training opportunity to the staff.

I question how sanitary the experience is if there are roof leaks and raw sewage backing up into the restaurant. I am suprised that seating customers in areas with leaks and the smell of raw sewage is acceptable, especially when the restaurant was not busy and almost every other seat was open and available.

We stopped by planning on ordering food to go. We sat at the bar, ordered and ended up staying there 2.5 hours! We met Will and we received awesome service! He gave us info on the Dirk beer, gave us some insight on a new nearby location and told us what other foods we should try. We'll definitely be going thanks to Will!

After last night's meal I looked up reviews. Maybe our burnt end were an exception, but I did not like it. How can burnt ends be black yet mushy on the outside. It was like that perfect roasted marshmallow, toasted and you know it's going to a have a bit of toasty crunch biting into the soft melted inside only to find it's total mush. Ugh. I was going to tell the server but did not want to flag him down for that. He never asked how the food was. Everything else was okay. Might try chicken or salad if we return.
