My husband was here for business yesterday and went here to eat.He went and paid for his bill and the waitress kept money for a tip without asking him and his work buddy.would not come here again.

Everything about this location is just okay. It doesn't stand out as being great, honestly we'll probably be back because it's nearby but it's definitely not a favorite.The food was very dry. Our server didn't ask how we wanted our steaks cooked so they came out well done. We prefer medium rare. We had to wait long periods for refills. While the waitress was nice she wasn't very attentive.There was almost no one there when we went on a Thursday Evening so we got served appetizers and food pretty quickly but everything was very underwhelming.
It’s been about 20 years since I’ve eaten at “On the Border” because I moved out of Texas. Last night OTB didn’t disappoint us!!!OTB was one of my favorites I lived in Texas!From the moment we walked in we were treated with great service and food.Our server “Jacob” was in training and although new to the restaurant business did a very good job!Our glasses were always full, the meal was well timed, the service was perfect and most importantly food was plentiful and delicious!There are many Mexican restaurants to choose from in the Dallas Fort Worth area, but on the borders worth giving a try!

My husband and I stopped by for a quick lunch. After we were seated we noticed the restaurant was a mess. Most of the tables were dirty and food on the floor. Our server explained they did not have anyone to clean the tables and they were short on staff. We ordered our food and sat there waiting and a young guy finally brought our food out. I told my husband I guarantee you our food is not going to be hot and I was right. The taco shells were very stale and hard to chew, sour cream sauce and rice was horrible. Nothing on our plate tasted fresh and I didn't have the time to have them remake our order because I was already late getting to work because it took forever to get our food. Tried to ask a female server for some plates and she kept ignoring me when she was walking by our table. We walked up to the front so I could pay and our server didn't even remember waiting on us. We used to love this restaurant but after our visit we will not be back. Very disappointed!
