We had an outstanding experience at the Rusty Beagle in Lewisville. We originally made a reservation for 8, changed it to 12 just hours before arriving, and then had even more of our group show up—24 people in total. The staff could not have been more accommodating and gracious. They gave us the entire back room to ourselves.
Our waitress, Emily, was fantastic. She handled our large, lively group with patience, professionalism, and a great attitude. The food was excellent—so much so that we asked for the cooks to come out so we could give them a round of applause. Every person in our group was happy with their meal.
We don’t live in the area and were trying the restaurant based on a friend’s recommendation—which can sometimes be hit or miss—but this was a definite hit. If we’re ever in Lewisville again, we will absolutely return to the Rusty Beagle.

Every time I go in here I have low expectations but then I'm really pleasantly surprised. I think it's because the place could use a facelift. It looks like a dive bar but they actually make really good drinks even cocktails. The service is always good too.

We like to go up to the Beagle for trivia on Tuesdays. Always a good hang, good food, and we always try to sit in Shelby's section because she always takes care of us! It is a chill neighborhood spot with your favorite sports on TV and nice people.

My experience is usually at the bar top. The constants that hold the bar together, navigating everyone’s idiosyncrazies are Asea, Raquel, and Logan amongst others. The food and service has always been top notch. Personally my favs are the wings and burgers. Fore first timers… The Men ‘s bathroom location is a bit tricky.*

The food was pretty good, but that was it. I've been there a few times and this last time, the service was as bad as I've ever had. We ordered 2 drinks, A house margarita with no salt and a beer with a slice of orange. After about 10 minutes the margarita had salt and the beer had no orange. No big deal. When the waitress finally came back for our food order, we both asked for our food without onions, and we asked for the orange and she said she'd get it. She never came back. I ended up going to the bar and getting it myself. She was inside, talking to her friends. The food came and she asked if there was anything else we would like and we requested salt and pepper. When we were Almost done eating, salt showed up. No pepper. Still, not the biggest deal. We finished our meal and waited for the waitress to come with our check. I went inside and found her talking to her friends again and asked for our check. She blamed not getting our check on the computers being down and told me she'd be right out. I thought she was coming right out but never showed. After a few minutes, I went BACK inside and got the checks. When she didn't come back for the credit cards I had to take them in myself where after I found her, I had her cash us out. This was during the Cowboys game but we were on the patio where the tvs haven't worked in a long time and still don't. There were a lot of people at the bar but very few at tables so they really weren't that busy, I'm not one that typically writes bad reviews but the service was absolutely offensive.
