This place is an excellent dive bar / sports bar. The Coors Banquet is super cheap, and all their food is excellent, and great value for the price. Service not always friendly, but generally competent. So quite good all around.
Fun place. Trivia night is fun and they have good drink specials. Some of the younger servers seem to be annoyed if you don't order enough and then I feel like the service can be lacking. When we go for trivia we usually tip high rather we eat our dinner there or sit for trivia and drinks only. But if we don't eat there sometimes it feels as if the server (only some)is annoyed that we are there at all, which is upsetting because we plan to tip high in order to compensate...
We had an outstanding experience at the Rusty Beagle in Lewisville. We originally made a reservation for 8, changed it to 12 just hours before arriving, and then had even more of our group show up—24 people in total. The staff could not have been more accommodating and gracious. They gave us the entire back room to ourselves.
