The Management and Service staff here are excellent! Everyone is super friendly and super happy. I had the sliced beef sandwich, coleslaw, and potato salad. Excellent as always! We went on Sunday afternoon and you get free bluebell. Yummy! Highly recommend this restaurant.

I went in the other day and it was very good. They have one of the best barbecue sauces and the meats were cooked perfectly.

For starters the dude taking our order couldn’t understand or speak English, that was frustrating. The best deal is the bakers plate, pulled pork and brisket sandwich were at best, meh. Portion size sucked, I’m a grown man in a BBQ place I would rather just eat at McDonald off the value menu it’d be better than this place. Best thing about this place were the bread rolls the handed out, but good luck trying to find the nice lady walking around with them, shouldn’t be an issue with how dead this place was. Prob should have taken that into consideration when I pulled into the parking lot.

I've always had great service here. The food is okay. The rolls, though, are amazing especially when you get them fresh. Someone will be walking around the tables giving out piping hot rolls every now and then.

Poor attitudes and they make excuses for serving cold food.

I'm not sure why I've heard bad reviews about the food, but I must say the rib plate, macaroni, and potato salad was delicious. The two young ladies at the counter were very friendly and of great help. I look forward to visiting again.

Very casual BBQ restaurant. Takes you back to school lunch line. Fresh yeast rolls served at your table, no extra charge. They have vanilla ice cream, and the day we visited, they had peach and / or pecan cobbler available. You purchase when you pay for your meal, then pick up and enjoy after your meal. The rolls come out piping hot. We have been visiting for years and they never disappoint. My go to is the chopped beef potato. Rest of family enjoy ribs, brisket and sausage. Enjoy 😉

2025 update.
I am having to start to check the price of drinks when I eat out these days.
$3.65 for each Ice Tea is out of line! Especially when price not posted with the meals

The bottom bun was really hard and the meat seemed dried out. I picked it up around 1:15, maybe the key is to get there at 11 when it's fresh.

Well when you order to go check your bread before you go because you can be getting over cooked bread or burned bread
Thank you for the big Hispanic big guy He went straight to the bread section and got me new bread while the lady who was giving me food to go was arguing with me.. Wow! What happened with good customer service???
