There was no one hardly there on a Wednesday night. So the chef was also the waiter and buss boy. Overall, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was adorable. There were Turkish items on the walls and the tables were immaculate. He served the food and drinks on a brass platter!! The lamb was *chef’s kiss*! The salad dressing was lemony and light. Loved it and will go back soon!

The food is fantastic, but there wasn’t enough of it to justify the price. The sultan’s delight is meat in tomato sauce with eggplant puree. It’s spectacular and comes with a few cubes of bread. It will be thinking about it for some time, but at the price point, there should have been….more.More food. More bread, more. Also, it seems the entire restaurant was being supported by one person. That can’t be sustained. So, if money isn’t a concern and Turkish food calls to you, ignore my review and bask in the deliciousness of the food. Just don’t have a stroke after you are done.

Fantastic restaurant! Very laid-back vibe and the food was so delicious! We got the Turkish coffee, the mixed appetizer, and the adana kebab. Everything was delicious and well presented. Would definitely recommend and we will be returning customers!!

This Turkish restaurant is definitely the real deal: - Delicious gourmet food with a variety of options - Gracious service - Both modern and authentic native dining environments (both upscale) - Friendly proprietor & staff - Excellent value - CLEAN restrooms, too! I will go back to The Flying Carpet as often as I can. THANK YOU!

Pardon the pun here but this place is the diamond in rough. The flavor of the Shrimp Casserole was so good I couldn't stop till the bowl was empty. I also had the Red Lentil soup to start and that bowl was cleaned as well. I wish I had room for desert because what I saw go by my white table cloth table looked delicious. The staff was very professional and the chef cares so much about his craft that he checks in with every table to ensure their satisfaction. Danilo Case, my waiter was great. Friendly, able to carry a conversation when warranted and very helpful. If you are in the area and looking for authentic Turkish food, come here.

Been there twice for takeout. I've had both the Adana Kebab wrap and platter at separate times. The künefe is really good. It reminds me of the knafeh I've had at an Armenian restaurant back in my college days. Baba ghanoush was good. Will try different things on my next visit, like doner kebab.

Absolutely amazing in every way! We stayed at a near by hotel for 3 nights and ate there twice, it was that good. The meze plate was wonderful, babaganoush was excellent, the Imam bayildi one of the best I have ever had, the kebabs were one better then the other but the lamb one was spectacular, and so were the stuffed cabbage rolls-delicate yet savory, the taste was perfectly balanced, with a great proportion of sourness from the pickled cabbage leaves and subtle saltiness, cooked to perfection -a must try!It is a BYOB, so we brought a bottle of red and one of white wine to keep everyone happy.I wish we had a such a good Turkish restaurant near where we live in MA!

Finally got to go "back" to this place in the new location. Had been to the original place in Fort Worth years ago before the fire. Food is fabulous. Still quiet because nobody knows about it. Need to get the word out so this place survives. Immigrant opened and operated. He takes your order, goes back in the kitchen and makes it for you, and brings it out. Can't get more authentic than that. LOTS OF VEGETARIAN OPTIONS. SUCCULENTS MEATS.

We really enjoyed our lunch at The Flying Carpet! Turkish coffee with the best baklava I've had in years for dessert was a real treat!Vegetarian options: Many of the appetizers were vegetarian and some were vegan. They worked as a meal.

I recently experienced the culinary magic at 'The Flying Carpet,' a Turkish restaurant expertly helmed by Chef Cebrail Demirtas from Istanbul. The cozy ambiance, accentuated by the inviting carpeted flooring, added a touch of warmth to our dining experience. Each dish was a delightful journey through Turkish flavors, making our visit truly memorable. I wholeheartedly recommend a trip to 'The Flying Carpet' to savor their exceptional cuisine and tempting desserts.
