This is of those hometown cooked meals, great service & great food. We ordered fried pickles & fried mushrooms for appetizer & both were great. They have a wide variety along with meals for kids & seniors. There was a total of 6 of us & we all loved our food.

The best catfish I've had in a long time. Amazing onion rings. My husband and I shared the meal and took some home! They do not skimp on portions. We didn't eat dessert but the pies looked awesome. Great waitress, great service. Definitely worth a visit.

The location is nice, right in town. The senior portions are huge! We both got the chopped steak wrapped in bacon, brown gravy on the side. You get 2 sides with the senior meals and they had a nice selection! Several pies to choose from, get the buttermilk pie heated with a huge glass of milk! Mikayla was our server and she made our meal fantastic! The other worker ladies in the restaurant were very friendly. Worth a drive from a Longview!

Sadly disappointing! I ordered a Senior Chicken strip dinner ($6 on the website) but was charged $8. There were 3 TINY chicken nuggets that were so overdone that you couldn’t chew them. Salad was made with sad brown lettuce. I called and spoke with a manager (Patricia) who made excuses and offered no apologies. Don’t waste your time or money and most of all your tastebuds.

We stayed in Lindale while on our shopping trip to Canton. We went here for Supper the first night. Hubby had the hamburger steak and loved it. I had the fried shrimp, they were ok but fried way too long. We looked at the breakfast menu and decided to return the next morning. I had the griddle which was amazing, hubby had eggs and biscuits and gravy. We knew it would be good when we got there and there was a table of Texas law officers there. Seemed to be a lot of locals there. Very friendly. Great prices !!!!!

Seems this is a favorite spot of the locals. Good food friendly service. Do yourself and check it out. My husband got the ribeye steak. He cut it with a butter knife and the flavor was exceptional
butter tasted like grease,wax ..chicken fried steak was cooked so long you couldnt cut it..wife said her fish was good and baked potatoe was good as well..

Each time we go to Lindale, we have to visit Petty's. The staff is very friendly, the food is great and you never leave hungry.

We ate here for lunch. Had the special - chicken fried steak, and 3 veggies, drink included and dessert. One of the best chicken fried steaks we have had. Great service. We enjoyed out lunch here.

I’m on a low carb diet. I asked the waitress if I ordered just the cheese omelet with no biscuits and potatoes, would it still be $6.49. She said she’d ask the owner. I never heard back from her but when I got the bill, I was charged the full amount. Bad decision. I won’t be back. Their food isn’t that great anyway.
