Wonderful quality, very hot and fresh food, clean and friendly restaurant. The tables are sturdy and the chairs are plush and quilted which was really nice! I’m from out of town and everyone was very welcoming. Lots of to go orders going out.

My husband & I were visiting Tyler State Park for the first time & I looked up the best restaurants near there & Eastern Buffet was in the top choices. We were pleasantly impressed with the quality of the food which was better than tasty. It's not the run of the mill flavors we were expecting. The staff were very friendly & attentive without hovering. The place was spotless. Overall, it is a great place to eat & I'm sad it's a 3 hour drive from us.

Drove over 30 miles based on reviews. I wasn’t impressed. Most of the food was room temperature but the ribs and they were so tough you could barely eat them. Green beans were tasteless and the lo main was greasy. Won’t be going back

Food was good, not as great as other reviews. My fried donuts were dry. The lo mein was meh, green beans were tough. The best things on the buffet were the mushrooms, peach pie and cheesy crab casserole. And the Mongolian pork was very tasty. UPDATE 10/16/25: we went to the lunchtime buffet today and now I must recind my earlier review. Today's food was hot and plentiful. Everything that I tried was fresh and delicious. The fried dough was perfect and I loved the peach pie.

All food was great! I’m a connoisseur of Chinese food and I judge a restaurant by their egg drop soup, Lo Mein noodles, General Tso’s chicken and sweet and sour sauce. Every aforementioned item was spot-on but I stumbled across their jalapeño chicken, my favorite! 10 out of 10 recommend!
Decent buffet food good variety. The spinach was really good . Some food was over cooked. Also can order plates to go. Clean bathrooms sometimes ther is a wait we lucked out on a Saturday and there was no wait around 6pm
