JT2 Gourmet Burgers & Ranch Market

I passed by this hamburger restaurant and wanted to try it out. I love a good hamburger. It compares to The Garage Burgers in OKC. The service was great. I ordered the spicy Avocado Cheeseburger and fries. The burger and fries were great. The tea was great too. I enjoyed the decor inside. It was very clean and comfortable. I would visit again.

Very friendly and fast service. The sweet lady at the counter made us laugh as soon as we spoke. The chicken fried steak was huge and it was very good. Will definitely go back to try their burgers next time we are in the area.

I've been dying to take a trip here for a great burger. I can say the place is nice, the lady taking orders was very friendly. But our orders were not what we ordered. I ordered the garlic butter burger and husband ordered the big bacon burger. I asked for mayo on mine and it was dry, nothing on it including the garlic butter. Husbands big bacon burger did not have bacon on it. I might add, I haven't been able to eat a lot of foods due to dental work so this was much anticipated and such a let down.

The food here is really fresh and the meat tastes incredible! The service is on the slower side but it's well worth the wait. The portion sizes are quite large so I took home leftovers which is always a plus.

This place is excellent! Conveniently located, great decor and really good food. The prices are reasonable, $11-12 for a burger and side and the kids burger with side is a great value at $5. The beef is really good quality, I highly recommend.

Kid-friendliness: Reasonably priced kids meals

The burgers are the freshest. I have never had a ranch to restaurant burger what a delicious experience. The fries were great also. I ordered a chicken fried steak sandwich to go . It was an actual steak pounded out tenderized and battered ,perfectly fried. I will be back. People were buying large packs of ground beef to go from their market. I can see that would make great burgers or meatloaf or other dishes at home.

The burger I had was excellent! Others in our party said it was the best burger ever! They have a well managed beef outfit that directly supplies top level meat without hormones, etc. You can taste the difference!

Staff was very Friendly......this was my first time here and he broke down the menu for me. The cook was funny and very passionate about her food. I was super full and the prices are GREAT. Top quality meats very freash. I will be back!!!!

The burgers were very good. Fries were mostly little pieces. Big problem was the glass in the burger that gouged my tongue. Bled for a long time. Showed employees and management at that time. Now they refuse to pay for my lost wages or any pain and suffering. I've tried to talk with them to no avail. The difference between a good and bad business isn't if something will go wrong, but how they handle the problem. And they've handled this bad from the get go. Even the owners refused to talk to me.

It gets better every time I visit! The burgers are amazing and today I had their filet mignon which was fantastic.You really feel at home here. Dustin, the manager, and the crew made us feel so welcome and helped recommend some great dinner options.After your meal, you can shop from a wide assortment of cut beef for cooking at home and the prices seem very competitive compared to other meat markets in the area.

Absolutely one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. We dined in and the place was super clean and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. We didn’t buy the meat but they have a full scale meat market here. The meat comes from their ranch not too far away. Don’t pass this place up!

The food here is so delicious that I am writing this review literally as we are driving away from dining here. Please go and support this establishment; the customer service is amazing, the food is fresh, and you get plenty of it. Today was our first time visiting; my family is traveling to Louisiana and we wanted to be adventurous and try a new burger eatery. Well we definitely got more than we bargained for. This is not just you place for great burger; there menu has all types of hardy dishes made with premium meats!Sorry to everyone we were supposed to take pictures but the food immediately went into our mouths!So stop reading this review and go! Been to JT’s multiple times and have enjoyed the local feel and farm to table experience. They have unique burgers including the Firecracker and highly recommended Jam burger. Lasso chips with a side of your favorite dipping sauce is a must! The staff has been friendly each time I’ve visited and Jason really makes the effort to make customers enjoy their meal.

100% grass fed beef. Chicken fried steak was amazing. Great place for good home country cooking.

I was so excited to eat here, the place is beautiful, the menu looks amazing, all the promises of clean eating and fresh food, but sadly the food was not very good, I love hamburgers and this was a big let down, I went with the classic hamburger to get a good comparison and this is their claim to fame. The burger was salty yet bland at the same time if that even makes sense,#2 I don't even know what to say about the fries except that they were different (but not good nor gross). Definitely not even close to the top 10 burgers in east TX, and for the price I would expect more.
