Terrible food. Can’t even fully cook items. Manager is very rude. Would do better as an outhouse cleaner. Will never be back. Have made sure to pass this information on to many friends. Lindale deserves better.

Yall really should work on y’all’s French toast recipe. Maybe try adding cinnamon or something besides egg to it. I ordered to go and I wasn’t given any syrup either.
Also, idk what the poor girl did to get in trouble but to the owner/manager, please don’t discipline your employees in front of your customers. That’s embarrassing. Go to a back room or outside for that there’s no need.

Very disappointed in the quality of the food we received for lunch today. The fried chicken looked like it sat under a heat lamp for hours,meat dry as a desert. There was one tiny little bite of meat on the wings. As for my grilled chicken..as thick as a piece of cardboard..you know..the thin kind,managed to choke down some. Only saving grace were the beans and cabbage.

Closest thing I've ever had to a good southern home cooked meal from a restaurant. The meringue pies are to die for. Just like my mamas! I bought a whole coconut after having a slice. The chocolate is equally amazing. Everything I ate was delicious. I had lunch then returned the next day for dinner.

The reason I won't be back is they charge $2.50 to split a plate for me and my wife to eat our own food. Plus I was trying to talk to the waitress. I know that it's not her fault. But when I told her I would not be back she got an attitude. So the food is mediocre anyway. I will not be back.
The catfish was fresh and hot, the red beans were delicious, and baked potato was perfectly cooked. The guys had chicken fried steak and they enjoyed those! Pricing very good for food. Just an older diner but great food!

I do not give 5 stars unless all things are perfect and my socks are blown off my feet. Please keep that in mind. Pettys was basically awesome! We love diners and we celebrated my daughters 25th birthday with my folks at Pettys in Lindale, Texas. The food exceeded all expectations, the diner experience was awesome and the wait staff was great. There were loud waitresses, quieter ones, and ours who made us feel at home. If you want an old fashioned diner experience, Pettys in Lindale, Texas is a must!
