I have been eating at Pops fried chicken for years. The last two times I’ve been to this location. The food was terrible very bland no seasoning and stale. You tell the manager and he has nothing to say I would not recommend this place for anyone who wants to sit down and have a good home-cooked meal I had your hamburger steak greens mashed potatoes, gravy, greens taste like grease potatoes taste like paste and the hamburger steak with a soy bean patty with brown gravy over it. Time before that I stopped and had the chicken dinner. Chicken was already turning brown on the inside. It was the damn I’m old and you tell him about it. Oh, it’s freshly cooked freshly cooked four hours ago maybe sitting under the heat lamp.

Didn't even go in, I called, asked how much the 12 piece chicken was. They said 23.99!!!!! It says 13.99 on menu photo. Was told oh that's the other location!!? Was told this was good food but I'm not Elon so I can't afford it.

Home cooked style food served here. The food in my opinion I would grade it at mid. Not bad but not great. The fried chicken I had was cooked well and was juicy but lacked flavor. Plenty of side items to choose from. Service was quick and friendly. The price was reasonable.

Just found this gem traveling back from Dallas. Good southern comfort food, good service and good prices. Had the catfish, mashed potatoes and banana pudding and the wife had the chicken spaghetti, mashed potatoes and green beans. Everything was cooked and seasoned right. Gonna try that good looking peach coblar next time I'm in Lindale. My kinda place.
