Dickey's Barbecue Pit

Came in with not a soul in sight took us calling out twice for anyone to come even greet us the food was fine but cold tasted like it been sitting for 30 minutes for us being the only people in here I now understand why nobody was here and will never come to this Dickies bbq again.

Ordered three meals, only got two. Paid for jalapeños for my brisket sandwich which I didnt receive my sandwich. Tried calling but the number just rings, you cannot get a hold of anyone. We tried around 6 times goes to voicemail. If you order from here you will be hungry and basically stole my money. Will never buy anything from Dickeys again lessons were learned. Order from Tenders Smokehouse or HEB Texas BBQ instead as I haven't had an issue like I had at Dickeys.

Well I been going there for years but that day I wasn't happy with the service and I thought they just threw my food in a container and Everytime I get something I spent over $50 for a meal.

The guy making the sandwich had a gotee and was playing with his gotee
and texting while making my sandwich. The person at the register knew nothing about the food which I had several questions. Not sure if I want to eat the food after seeing the guy play with his hair and wiping his face with his bare hands. They must not have gloves how about using a hair net. Will not go back.. I will report to health dept

I haven’t been to a Dickies in over 10+ years, but decided to go yesterday. If all Dickies are like this I am never going to another one ever again. DO NOT COME HERE. At 5:30PM, TVs are off, no toppings bar, no bbq sauce, the music is calming piano, and the food is disgusting. I took one bite out of my pulled pork sandwich and decided to give the rest + my Mac and cheese to my dog. Genuinely the worst bbq sandwich I’ve ever eaten. This store is a lost cause. The only redeeming thing is the service, but even then they aren’t very bright.

R@cist a$$holes run this place. Stay Away and choose better BBQ. This is Texas FFS. This is the worst that BBQ gets here anyway.

They are now posting these as disgusting as their food, in an attempt to stay relevant. Now everyone knows what kind of bigots run this location.

Service is very slow, there’s always only two people working during a lunch rush. Ordered COUNTRY FRIED STEAK- with gravy. Expected brown meat, no if was fried chicken. The lady at the counter kept telling me they don’t sell steak, I said ma’am country fried steak is beef why is my meat white and it’s chicken. She didn’t understand and kept telling me they don’t sell steak. I am not asking for a filet or a T bone.
They brought the wrong sides to my coworker and switched her order with another persons in the restaurant. But we ate it because we were on a time limit and couldn’t wait another 30 mins for our food, this isn’t my first time here with a wrong order. Definitely won’t be returning.

Just had a giant baked potato loaded with chopped brisket. Potato was great and service was quick and friendly.

Tough and dry brisket. Definitely older product reheated multiple times. Soda was flat and no available ice.
