The Mrs. and I went here this past week for dinner. I have tried them before and wanted to give them another try. My initial visit was pleasant and the atmosphere was welcoming. But the portions are horrendous for the price. I got the catfish with steamed veggies and a side salad. The fish was as big as a chicken tender and the sides became the main attraction to the dish. I expected my tastebuds to be blown away with flavor regarding $18 for catfish. I was sadly mistaken and the waitress advised that they were trying a new cook.

My husband had Brisket Nachos, and they were delicious!!! I had Garlic Parmesan Wings which were good, but could have been a little crispier. Overall it was good. The atmosphere was pleasant. We will be returning.

The food here is really good! We came in Christmas Eve for lunch & were seated quickly. However it did take a while to be served. I’m guessing the kitchen was backed up due to all of the to go orders. The drinks were really good. My hubby had two top shelf margaritas but they clearly changed the tequila in the 2nd one. My daughter had a mimosa & the mango margarita. The mango margarita was really sweet but strong. Beware! I had a few mimosas that were pretty cool. We ordered the lemon pepper wings which were salty but good. I had the chicken & waffles. No complaints. The brisket nachos were really good! The brisket had a great flavor. My only complaint is that my husband’s brisket baked potato was a bit skimpy & the potato was hard in some places. Also I placed a to-go order that sat on the counter for 15-20 min before the waitress brought it over. Not too mention my to-go brisket fries were extremely salty. Good but salty. Overall it was a decent experience. We will give them another chance when we come back to Little Elm.

An organization, I'm a part of had a private party in the restaurant, and everyone was amazing. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the food was delicious and they took great care of us. I highly recommend them and I can't wait to go back and eat in the restaurant where I can sample more of the menu than the catered food options.

We had our Christmas event at Savory Kitchen last night and we could not be happier with the food, service and way our group was treated! What a delight! We will definitely be coming back again and again. I just can't recommend them enough!

Hands down the best steak I've ever had! Chef D is a genius. Also, the best waffles and the best brisket mac and cheese on the planet. It's been over a month since I've eaten here and I still think often about how delicious it was! Yum, yum, yum!

Loved this place! They had a DJ after dinner and it was a blast. People were dancing while others still enjoyed the privacy of an intimate and upscale dinner at their seats. Super fun and the food was realllllly good. Will go back.

Server is great. Food is good but very minimal. The place looks so accommodating and warm. We were able to find a seat though at the time mh family and I went for a dinner, there was a party going on. They lack servers so you have to be wait until you get the glance from the bar server because I think at that time they are only 3-4 people to accommodate your orders and needs. We ordered shrimp creamy pasta Alfredo. Too much cream but it tastes so good. Linguine is not enough for one person. Hardly even feel full. Mac and cheese order as sides for the children but it's too much cheese and very sticky. It's baked so it was supposed to be good while it's hot. Don't let it get cold so it won't get so hard. Sweet potatoes aren't enough too. It's like everything is limited. Overall, it's the server who was kind that made it all worth the time to check it out. Other than that, it needs improvement. Under-man in a mid-size restaurant so you have to be patient.

Then as I entered I saw a full house of some of everybody in the place. People at the bar, tables, etc. I sat at the bar, had a few mango mimosa (which smacked by the way) and met some new friends! What I loved about Savory was that everyone from the patrons to the staff were friendly! It felt like a family environment. The deejay was on point too. And I have to give props to the owner, Chef D who did not hide in the kitchen but came out to speak to people. We engaged in conversation and he personally delivered my food to me. If you’re curious about Savory Kitchen, let this be your sign to go! You won’t be disappointed. I’ll definitely be back!

I came here for brunch and I ordered the shrimp and grits. It's a shame how good it was... I was blown away like unbelievably good I am still in awe. The atmosphere was one of the best experiences I have had at a restaurant. I really felt at home my party closed the restaurant that's how good of a time we had. I can't wait to return this restaurant deserves more than 5 stars.

My friend suggested that we try Savory Kitchen Bar for his birthday. It was very good! The food was very tasty and the service was great! Friendly staff! We had Fried Catfish, Breakfast burrito, fried chicken and fries, and a side of the best cheese grits!! Delicious! We will definitely be back! Thanks Daniela for the great service!
