Ordered to-go a while ago and got stale potato masala on the dosa. Got Just plain masala dosas even though my order was benne dosa. There are better Indian restaurants in Frisco. Wouldn’t recommend this. The old quality is gone !

Been here for 8-9 times and still haven’t tasted the complete menu. The varieties are so many and the taste of each dish has its own speciality. A goto place for any lunch and dinner. My kids love the food and the spice level do match their taste.

Been there multiple times. the taste is not consistent but better than lots of veg restaurants around. Service is not great. you have to ask and wait for everything from spoon to napkin. Quantities are average, overall satisfactory food with above average price tag.

Outstanding dining experience. The combination of great service, inviting ambiance, and top-notch food ( ordered ghee dosa twice and chhole bhatura) makes it a place I would gladly return to and highly recommend to others.

Restaurantji Recommends
It's a pure veg restaurant which is mostly Karnataka style food. They are sweet, I mean literally the Sambhar is sweet. Food taste is above average only.
Probably a one time visit.

The food was great and they had some unique dishes like kaju bites, paneer stuffed chole puri etc., We went with our family of 10, still managed to get the best service for each one of us. Despite the demanding kids we had the staff was very friendly and got us all that was needed. Would love to go again.

The tiffins are good here. Tried thatte idly and masala dosa which was good. Liked their chutney and sambhar which was fresh. Gobi fried was good just that there was a little salt on Gobi here and there. The tandoori roti could have been more crisp and the Malai paneer was good ?? they gave a complimentary Jamun dessert which was nice. The service is really good and not much wait time.

My wife and I recently dined at Veg Vihar in Little Elm, and we came away very impressed! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a casual, welcoming atmosphere and lively music that added to the dining experience.
The menu is truly impressive, boasting an extensive selection of South Indian, North Indian, and Indo-Chinese dishes. Just the appetizer list alone spans two pages, with unique options that pique your curiosity. We started with the jackfruit cutlets, which were absolutely delicious. The accompanying chutney perfectly complemented the flavors, making it a fantastic starter.
For our main course, my wife ordered the Thaat Idli, while I opted for the South Indian Thali. Both dishes exceeded our expectations! The sambar and rasam, often a telltale sign of a good South Indian restaurant, were outstanding and earned top marks from us.
Veg Vihar has definitely set a high bar! We can't wait to return and explore their North Indian and Indo-Chinese offerings. If our first experience is anything to go by, we have no doubt that we'll be equally impressed.
