Napalitos is finally open! After about 4 years of waiting it was great to have their cooking again. The place is much bigger now and no longer has that awkward raised section. The fast casual change seems to be working pretty well even just a couple of days past their reopening. We all had our regular items and they were all just as good as we remembered.
Food and service was excellent. Largest chicken fried steaks I've ever seen. Brother and nephew had that. I had the chicken chimichanga with white cheese sauce. We also ordered a bowl of regular queso and a bowl of the white cheese sauce before we got our meal. White was outstanding. The regular queso was not as good. It was very thin and tasted more like tomatoes instead of cheese. Only complaint that I had. Restaurant was very clean and plates looked great.
Nopalitos is a little pricey, but most of the time it's worth it. There are occasional screwups, but the friendly staff members make sure to quickly fix it for you. It's a pretty quiet place unless it's busy, and I think it's a great place for families too. Me and my family can get a giant booth when we go since there's 6 of us. I've also gone with my friends during lunch over the years, and that says a lot since those years were in high school where...
