First time using mobile ordering.
I arrived a few minutes before the estimate completion time. Food was ready to go within the next few minutes. Food prepared correctly and everything ordered was present. Note: it was a Wednesday evening but the flow of to go orders were steady.

Sophie was absolutely hands-down, the absolute best hostess I’ve ever met in my life. She made my dining experience stress-free. What a blessing.
We ordered all sorts of crazy stuff on the menu because everybody in my family likes everything from the calamari to the $5 boneless chicken wings and she made sure we had our order correct everything was perfect.

I was really not wanting to go back to BJ's since the last two visits were so very bad however Miss Rossi completely turned my experiences around she was so informative so helpful and just an all-around great customer service server I will now only visit this location and I will always ask for her

We came on a Sunday to celebrate my sisters birthday. My brother has raved about BJ's and their food for the longest time. He usually goes to the north most one in San Antonio, however this was the first time we checked out the one in Live Oak. Beautiful location. Accesibility from highway is tolerable. Right next to Longhorns. Near Ikea. Most of the parking is behind the restaurant.

We had a larger party of 9 and were sat quite quickly at dinnertime. Decent selection of domestic and craft brews. Including crafted tapped sodas. That were absolutely delicious. Orange Cream, Cream, Vanilla, and Black Cherry. We tried them all.

The server was amicable enough. Friendly. We were sat next to another birthday party that rolled in after us. Outdoor seating also available. The menu is generous. They're famous for the ice cream cookie dessert. The restaurant starting filling quickly. Which had me believing that we made a good choice. I think they were not preparred for it because our food actually took quite a long time for it to arrive. We saw the the party that was sat after us start to get their food. Not all at once. Mainly a couple of people at a time. Which started me to have some concern.

As we were discussing it as a table andnI was about to get up and say something. Our food started to arrive. Again. Not all at the same time. Piecemail again. A few minutes between each wave. As I was about to eat my Brisket Burger, my nephew mentioned his food was cold. Thats when I checked mine. Room temperature. So was my sisters $30+ steak. This is when the server came to do some refills while waiting on the rest of our food and we mentioned something. Another server brought some more food for us and he went to speak to his manager.

As he came back he mentioned they can either remake the food or take the meals off that were cold. I opted to keep mine because I did not want to wait longer for the food. Same as my nephew. We both have to get up early for work tomorrow. My sister opted to have hers remade. When he left, i checked with my neice and my nephews girlfriend. There food was warm enough they said. My brothers ziti was the only food that was hot. Thats when I overheard the server saying that they only had too cooks on.

Eventually the manager came over to address our issues and apologize for what occurred. He was also a very amicable individual who did seem sincere. However, from what i saw on hisnface and heard in the tone of his voice that we were not the first or last issue he had dealt with tonight. Working in the industry, I understand that sometime we have one of those nights. After the pizzokies came, and we got the bill, 3 of the meals were comped. Im not sure we'll come back to this location as a family. I will say that it might be worth me coming to check out for one more try if i am in the neighborhood again, by my self. Not during the holiday season though.

Pros: Attractive menu and restaurant.

Cons: Accessibility, staffing

Suggestions: Training of staff, prioritize customer service and product quality, watching forecasting and staffing accordingly, better prep for the night rush.

We had Eddie as a server. He was extremely helpful with his services and provided a lovely experience. He engaged with us and made us feel comfortable while eating. I would recommend him always as a server and would love to be served by him again!

Came here with my dad and brother at 5:15 pm. There was only like 5 tables in the whole place and I had to GET UP to ask a different server for refills for our drinks while my own server was outside messing around with another employee outside the take out station. Our food never came out and we were there for 30 minutes. We left cash for our drinks and left. This is why restaurants like BJs are dying. I don’t want anyone reaching out to me to apologize, I won’t be coming back and I will be sharing this experience with my family and friends.

Went to Bjs the other day and had Sophia as my server, she was the sweetest girl ever, and her service was amazing, we enjoyed the food as well, and we will be coming back soon!

I came in today to try out the new dubai chocolate pizookie and it was amazing! Our server Sophie had amazing recommendations, I ended up trying the smash burger from the $13 pizookie meal deal. Sophie is awesome and would definitely recommend her :)

Sophie, our server, was AMAZING!! Food was delicious- chicken parm was the perfect portion and delicious! The Blonde beers were great!
