Every time I go here the staff is friendly and the food is very high quality for a great price. This is by far my favorite buffet restaurant and my go to spot when I want some great sushi
Awesome lunch for a birthday

This place was always average, never warranting a good review, however now it deserves a low review. We had a teppanyaki style dinner and our chef was a very poor mannered and petty person. He messed up the food, missed ingredients in the rice, forgot to do another parties birthday song which we literally did instead of the staff because we noticed. Then, not only did our group have to do 18% gratuity tax, which was fine, and not only did we tip the server separately because he was nice, but now I have to separately tip the chef and after he shoves his cash box in my face and I decline because I'm not tipping poor service, he had the audacity to give the other group shots of sake because they felt pressured to tip even though he forgot to sing and tried to apologize right before asking for a tip. 30 years of going to teppanyaki restaurants around the world and I've never had a chef ask for a tip on their own, and shake a cash box at me. You are paid more than the servers! They depend on tips because its worse than minimum wage, you are paid without tips because of this. The irony is I have tipped chefs for stellar service, which Kobe seems to no longer employed. I won't ever return due to this steady decline and disrespect.

We dined at Kobe’s on December 23, 2025, and I feel compelled to formally express my deep disappointment with the service my family received. I have visited this location several times in the past and have generally enjoyed the experience, which made this visit particularly shocking and upsetting.
From the moment we were seated at the hibachi table, the level of service we received was noticeably poor. My family is African American, and it was extremely difficult not to notice the stark difference in how our server treated us compared to the other party seated at our table. The server made little to no eye contact with us, failed to check in or offer drink refills, and largely ignored our presence altogether while actively engaging with and catering to the other guests.
We ordered sushi, yet despite placing our order before the other party, they received their appetizers well ahead of us. This was both confusing and frustrating. When our drinks finally arrived, they were extremely disappointing—overly syrupy, poorly prepared, and far below the quality one would expect from your establishment.
Unfortunately, the experience did not improve when the hibachi chef arrived. The cook was noticeably disengaged with our family, spoke almost exclusively to the other party, and did not perform the customary hibachi interactions or tricks that are a defining part of the experience. This lack of engagement made us feel invisible and unwelcome.
This visit took place during the holiday season, a time when families gather to celebrate and create joyful memories. Instead, the atmosphere made us feel like a burden rather than valued guests. The overall experience left us feeling disrespected and deeply disappointed.

Kobe did not disappoint! Before we made a reservation the staff patiently answered ALL of my questions, due to a seafood allergy. When we arrived for our Hibachi reservation the hosts were very friendly and reassured us of cleanliness and cross contamination was told to cook. Our waiter John was Awesome! He too took very good care of us asking how severe the allergy is and that there would be no cross contamination. He was attentive and made sure to keep reminding the cook of the allergy and to cook shellfish very last on the very opposite side of the grill. Our cook Hendri began with Asking who had the allergy and also ensuring that the shellfish would be made opposite of me. He also made our first time experience a great one! Every one was exceptionally friendly and professional. The atmosphere was nice, not too bright or loud. And the food was great, flavor in every bite. Highly recommend. Will return!

Very friendly atmosphere. Colby was an AMAZING waiter. Very attentive, not pushy. Hostesses were very friendly as well.
All staff handled a minor loss of power (2 mins….maybe), very well. No one lost their marbles. They all checked on the tables when it came back on. Great teamwork everyone! Thank you for an amazing dinner!
Best place ever, food is great, staff is great and everyone is very friendly.
Well recommend.

This was our first time dining here and it was good. It was a Saturday night so the wait for the hibachi side was more than 30 minutes. There was no wait for the restaurant side. I think the hibachi tables are a little too close together, which leaves little room between the back of chairs from nearby tables. It’s a tight space. We weren’t in a celebratory mood but we wanted to have a good time and a fun experience. Our chef prepared our meals with minimal flair so it was alright.
The food was good enough. The bowl of white rice had some hard pieces. Either under cooked or from the bottom of the cooker. The ginger dressing was very refreshing with the salad. All our entrees were good. Nothing was totally amazing so I’m not sure if I’ll return anytime soon. If I do dine here again, I’ll try the restaurant side.

I got sick while at the restaurant and when I brought it up to our server she acted nonchalant about it. I threw up 3 times while there and both my husband and I let her know the food tasted funny. There were others in the restroom when I went multiple times that were also throwing up or sick to their stomach. My husband had the same issues when he went to the restroom due to him feeling sick to his stomach. She seemed confused about the issue. I ended up having to go to the hospital due to this lasting more than 2 days. They said I had food poisoning that caused inflammation in my intestines. For me this is extremely dangerous since I’ve had gastric bypass surgery. The sad part is we were celebrating getting my class ring for my bachelors.

We love this location, one place our whole family agrees on. The waitstaff is all super friendly, and this past time we had Kris and she was great! Always such a good experience here!

We’ve visited Kobe Teppan Sushi a couple of times now, and each experience has been enjoyable. My husband and I especially love their all-you-can-eat sushi buffet. The sushi tastes fresh and delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The crispy rolls are some of our favorites—they’re flavorful, perfectly textured, and very satisfying. One thing to note is that they serve six pieces of each type, and the rolls are generously sized, so it can be hard for one person to finish a whole order. That said, everything we tried was worth it, and it’s a great deal for sushi lovers. Just remember that if you leave sushi unfinished, there’s a small charge per piece, so it’s best to order carefully. Overall, this is a fantastic spot for a date night—moderately priced, cozy, and quiet, with friendly and attentive service.
We also brought our kids another time for the Hibachi dinner show, and it was a completely different but equally fun experience. The kids loved watching the chef cook in front of us with all the tricks and entertaining presentation. The hibachi meals themselves were flavorful, well-seasoned, and tasted very authentic. The chef was engaging and kind, making the evening special for the whole family.
Kobe Teppan Sushi is a versatile restaurant—great for a casual sushi date with plenty of variety or a lively family night out with hibachi. The combination of quality food, good value, and warm service makes it a place we’re happy to return to. Highly recommend for anyone looking for fresh sushi, flavorful hibachi, and a comfortable dining environment in one spot.
