Food for the soul. The restaurant was similar to the restaurants that I grew up eating at. The fried pork chops touched my soul. Felt like family upon entering the establishment. I highly recommend dropping in and having a plate.

My wife & I went in today and ordered the smothered pork chops special and biscuits and gravy with sausage meals with 2 sweet teas. The service was very good and both meals were cooked from someone's Heart!!! We're definitely going back again! I'm glad we didn't see all of the dessert selections in the front of the store!!! Friendly warning!!!!

Glad I found some good home cooked style food in the area! They have wonderful specials for each day of the week, and they all were delicious options. They also sell desserts and have a wide selection. The service was good and the restaurant has a good atmosphere. I'd love to return here again!

This is not a fancy restaurant. However, the food is on par or better than some higher styled restaurants that I have been to. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak. It was a huge serving and was very good. I ordered a cup of broccoli cheese soup. It was also very good. The reason that O ordered such a small meal was because. This is, first and foremost, a bakery. So I had to have dessert. I opted for the blueberry scone. Yum!Kid-friendliness: Lots of choices on kid menu.

Small family owned home cookin'. Went for deserts. Strawberry cake, lemon bars, tea cakes. So good. Sweet people.
I ordered a strawberry and cream cheese king cake for my Marti Gras party (my second year) and it was beyond fantastic! With all due respect, New Orleans, I’ve ordered from Gambinos previously and this one was as good or maybe even better! All my guests raved about it and said it was insanely good! It’s definitely the best king cake I’ve found in San Antonio.

Finally found the perfect biscuits and sausage gravy. The broccoli and cheese soup was the best! Desserts were great as well!Very welcoming atmosphere. We got to visit with Mrs. Williams and thank her for a great first visit. Definitely plan on visiting again and highly recommend! ????
People....You have to go see Mrs Williams... Everything that she makes is awesome from her baked goods to her home style breakfast. She is super sweet and has to be one of the hardest working restaurant owners I've seen. Get you some biscuits and sausage gravy! It will change your life!
