If I could give it less stars I would. I am not familiar with this town and was at work, I had a coworker call in an order for us because 2 of them came with me and I was buying dinner for them. Simple order really, 2 orders of 8 wings, and a cheeseburger plain and dry. Quoted 15 minutes got busy at work got there about 20 minutes instead (3 minutes away from my work). I walked into the bar and it was an immediate rude stare from the bartender. I asked where I would pick up a to go order and she said the other side. I turn to walk out and she said uhh there's a walkway here. Ope, not from here thank you. Again she's rude... I go to the young lady behind the other counter and says she doesn't have an order. She said I guess that one is yours, another lady quickly takes it and says no thats for my order, shows me the food inside in fact is not mine. So, the young lady rings me up again after many profanities because she was frustrated I assume because she made a mistake on the other person's order by giving them mine. So, I pay almost $50 and have to sit and wait. Not much apologizing at all! I finally get my food and the nice cook lady comes down and says ohh I made sure this is all right for you! We don't put sauce on the burgers so its plain. I grab a bag toss it in and grab condiments head to work. Guess what! It's wrong! My cheese burger? Yeah it was a chicken sandwich! I don't eat chicken so, I call and they apparently don't do card refunds so I had to go back and get my money back. She had the money sitting on the counter waiting for me. This was the first and last time I'll be there! The only reason I went was because the cook that was off today came in and heard me asking where a good place to eat was. This in fact was not a good place to get food. Nor a good look for the company with the attitude of the staff, except the cooks. Definitely expected a discount for the wait and their mistake... but to make one twice and still not offer anything not even a proper apology. What a shame.

Love this place!! Impossible Burger is fantastic, tater tots Devine and the beer is super cold! Service is always fun and friendly. Trivia Monday starts the week off right. See you there!

What a fun place! The history of how this bar began is nothing short of a tearjerker. Joe had a few friends from high school who made his dream come true of owning his own bar a few years before he died. Everyone needs friends like that! Our waitress, Shannon, was fantastic. She obviously loves her job and enjoys making people laugh. We look forward to visiting again sometime soon.

Our waitress Shannon was so sweet, the food was delicious and so filling. Learning the history of Joes bar was very cool. Love this hidden gem, if we pass through again we will definitely be stopping!

Don't try to order food after eight o'clock. Even though their hours say they are open till ten. Apparently they don't serve food after eight o'clock. I stopped by after getting off work late and it was eight twenty three, and the gentleman told me that they were closed.
It was a fun and friendly place for lunch. The food tasted good and even though the bar tender was unsure on how to make my old fashioned, it tasted great. She just needs the right ice cubes.

Food was good but pricey. Service was slow. And one bartender was incredible rude. I see from other reviews my experience was not the only one. Management should consider investing in customer service training. I will not be returning. There are other options in Llano.

The food was delicious. This place has a homely feel and the way they do things is a little different and think it gives that extra touch to being a great place to eat. If you're in the area, this spot is worth a shot. Just make sure to bring a BIG APPETITE!!
