They seem like they're just waiting to go out of business. Extremely poor service didn't give much hope of good food. Surprisingly the Ruben I had and the fries that came with it we're very good half the soda was out counterstaff was disinterested, the only thing they have going for him is the food itself, sadly it just isn't enough to overcome everything else.
Some of these reviews are for Llano location so to be clear this is for the Abilene Location where the original owners are. Honestly quite good and given food costs these days, fairly priced. I love pizza cooked in a brick oven. You get a more toasty crust with a little crunch. Our pizza was perfect with good distribution of toppings and just the right amount of cheese. Side salad as crisp and fresh. Service was friendly. Looking forward to trying other items from the menu.
I really wanted to like this place. But unfortunately I cannot give this place a good review. I'm all for supporting local small business but you also have to be serving a quality product.I went there for the first time yesterday after hearing that they dropped their prices last week in response to inflation. They took a counter cultural approach by lowering prices despite rising costs. A rousing story to be sure so I thought "I'm gonna go support them!" I was already a little wary because that location has a really hit or miss history with pizza places but "hey, they're not the same owners so let's give a shot." I thought. The food: first and foremost I want to state that I like pizza... A lot. So much some that there isn't a pizza joint in Abilene I haven't eaten at. I've also eaten pizza all over the world and across the US. So I have a really strong data set to compare this restaurant's pizza against. I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the pizza. For $14 and some change I got a 12-inch hyper-generic cheese pizza when I ordered a pepperoni pizza (my go-to order at new places). When it was brought to my table there was no pepperoni and I noted that to the server who promptly took it back to the kitchen. A few minutes later she returned with the same pizza but the cook had slapped some pepperoni on top and put it back through the oven. So what I got was a over cooked, almost burnt, cheese pizza with undercooked pepperoni on top. The evidence was that the pepperoni over lapped the cuts in the pizza and were not cut at all. The dough was something akin to a Tombstone frozen pizza. I think Red Baron does their crusts better. The cheese was standard. The sauce was almost non-existent. The pizza was edible but extremely low quality and all the ingredients tasted pre-frozen. I very much doubt the pizza crusts are hand made daily. The Price: I really honestly feel that they are massively over charging for their food. I get that they don't have the corporate backing of chain's but they are also far inferior to even Little Caesars where I can get a 16" Hot n' Ready for $6 or even a 12" medium pizza from Domino's for $5.99. Had the quality been worth the price then I would've said nothing about the size to price comparison. For the same price I can get a vastly superior pizza at brick oven. If I wanted to pay $14-$16 for a 12" pie then I will take my business there next time. Considering they say they've dropped their prices, I have to say it's not worth the time or money to get their pizza. The service: our server was great. She was very honest about the fact that they had a pizza bar but their cook was new and had burnt 3 pizzas and they were having trouble stocking it, so I ordered an individual pizza instead. She was prompt in her service, she had a great smile the entire time and she was young and had great energy. An excellent person to have up front. Conclusion: The quality is not worth the price. At least for the pizza. I can't speak to the rest of their menu but considering they were having problems across the board with their pizza that day, I imagine that any pie I would have gotten would be of the same low quality. Excluding the cook issues, the base quality of the ingredients is the primary issue with the quality of the pizza. Using pre-made frozen crusts or an inferior recipe will have a major impact on the quality of the pizza. Nothing tasted "bad" except it being borderline burnt but even still, it was of equal or lesser quality when compared to a cheap frozen pizza. For my money, I'll be going elsewhere satiate my cravings for that delicious cheesy pie from Italy.Rating: 2 out of 5 stars. Service was great. Food was not.
Not impressed with the quality of the food. I had the pizza from the pizza bar and a salad and it just was not good, especially for the price. I found it to be over priced, however I think they have lowered the price since my last visit so that may make eating here again worthwhile. Overall just mediocre pizza/salad. Perhaps their burgers and wings are more impressive, but after experiencing a poor meal here once I don’t see myself returning.
I'm giving them five stars for the crust not thick just right. Mushrooms were super tasty!
Ordered the pizza buffet for me and my husband Monday afternoon around 11:30. The buffet consisted of 3 pizzas to choose from-cheese, BBQ chicken and Hawaiian pizza-thats it. Would not recommend this establishment for pizza. It was $24 for the two of us. We would have been better off going to Pizza Hut and getting a couple of pizzas there instead….
Never going back their buffet was 13.50ea pizza was burned on bottom and hardly any pizza choises only pizza on buffet, they make your salad, iceberg lettuce tomatoes a little bit of shredded cheese that's it. No other side like pasta or ect. Just wanted to try eating there, but never again. Need more of a variety for that price and pizza not to be burned.
Just visited here for the first time since moving is this side of Texas our daughter said she wanted Pizza so we thought it looked like a nice place and my wife doesn't like pizza she got a burger and loved it I ordered a Hawaiian pizza it was great. The staff were extremely friendly and extremely family friendly
I had lunch there today and the staff was super friendly and had excellent service. The food came out quickly and my burger was super good, and my fries where hot and fresh. I will definitely be going back soon.
I went to a pizza place and got a burger. I can't say enough good stuff about the food! Best burger in Abilene I will definitely go back! Customer service was exceptional. Food was prepared and served quick.

The burgers are hot fire bro. Pay this place a visit of you're in the feels for a burger and fries meal.
Ordered mozzarella cheese sticks and a large create your own pizza.. From the pictures we had been seeing, the cheese sticks looked house made. Not house made. Just normal frozen fried ones. Not bad, but not amazing either. The Jalapeño ranch dip tasted great but was super liquid/runny/watered down. The pizza was good, could not taste the \"wood oven\" cooking at all, and the dough was burnt and burnt tasting on the outer crust and very chewy towards the middle. For almost $39 dollars ? not worth it. We drank water, so that was for just those two items. The young man even forgot our ibuyAbilene discount!
We were hoping for another place in Abilene that had great pizza. We loved the pizza from the last owners of this building. Sadly, this didn’t measure up. We order two 16” pizzas. One was just cheese and one was three meats from the create your own menu (there was no meats pizza type option). We paid about $45 for two pizzas. It felt expensive, but thought it would be worth it for good pizza. The pizza was not good. It was burned on the bottom, crust like cardboard, and the toppings were sparse at best. We paid way too much for pizza for sure and won’t likely be giving it a second shot.
I really wanted to like this pizza. I went in with a desire to enjoy their food. We got wings, which were ok, fair at best, but the pizza…. We got 2 16” pizzas, one Pepperoni \u0026 Italian Sausage, one I think it was called Natalie’s something (Alfredo Chicken). The pepperoni sausage had an ok flavor. What was most disappointing is it had about a total of 10 pepperonis and 6 pieces of sausage on it. The Alfredo pizza which is usually one of our house’s favorites was also lacking toppings. I also think that they couldn’t see how much cheese was on the pizza since they used a white Alfredo sauce because it had practically NO cheese! We paid nearly $70 for 2 pizzas and 16 wings. Now knowing what you get I wouldn’t pay $20. Garbage. I forget his name, but the young guy who took our order was super nice, friendly and pleasant to deal with. He is the ONLY reason I’m giving 2 stars
The food was amazing. We all had the Western Burger and it was delicious! The fried pickle spears were delicious too. Our waitress was super nice. I definitely recommend this place.
