I love to try new BBQ places while traveling. We traveled through Llano on the way to Austin. We stopped here because we have never eaten at this restaurant. Wow I am glad we did. It was amazing. I had the potato with brisket. My whole family sampled it and we all loved it. My husband had the sausage wrap and liked it also. The younger ones loved their brisket sandwiches l. The prices were very reasonable and the portions were good. The family running it was so helpful and kind. We would definitely stop here again. It is good eating.

I came to Llano with my boys from camping this weekend and knowing that Llano Texas is a birth place for great Texas bbq I had to check the places out! I found Tomlinsons! Larry and his wife Marlene have outstanding Texas bbq!! I would recommend stopping in worth every bite!

After hiking we needed to refuel and wanted some good BBQ. There was a few larger places along our route just past Tumlinson's, but we wanted to support a small local BBQ place - and we're so glad we did! The food was FANTASTIC, and the staff was very friendly. 10/10 would recommend and if we ever find ourselves in the area again, we would go back!

Holly Brisket! 10 stars if it was allowed we walked in at 10 min till 3 pm and they were so friendly We don't normally walk in at closing but had to check it out and were we so glad we did. This town offers some amazing bbq but u have not had bbq brisket untill u have had this brisket. Melts in your mouth. Wow best ever the holy grail of briskets. By far this is the best I have ever had. I am a big brisket lover due to the fact that my ex brother in law 4Th street market in Blanco Texas, Lester Coldewey made the first brisket I had ever had and I have been hooked ever since. Look out Lester cuz this takes 1st for me. This is so tender there is no need for chopped cuz it melts in your mouth just sliced. All I can say is this place sets the bar out of reach in my opinion. They are only open on Sat & Sun 11-3 so you will need to plan that but wow I should have bought 1/2 a brisket to tie me over till next weekend. Make this a must stop in llano you won't be sorry. Fantastic BBQ spot, family owned and friendly customer service. The brisket is super moist and perfectly seasoned. We created our own customized plate with brisket, ribs, jalapeño cheddar sausage, smoked chicken and original sausage. We had potato salad and pasta salad for our sides. The owners stopped by our table to check in on us and while talking let them know we were celebrating my wife’s birthday. They were so nice to bring us dessert with candles and we sang Happy Birthday, such a thoughtful and memorable moment. Thanks Tumlinson’s family and staff!

Some of the best Texas bbq I've had - with the nicest people. Larry and Marlene were so kind & accommodating to our group while we were in Llano for the solar eclipse. They let us picnic in the side grassy area where we were able to catch the entire eclipse eating some awesome bbq. Thank you again to them for the hospitality and great food.

Wonderful people who make the best chopped bbq sandwich in the world. Melt in your mouth smokey deliciousness. Sides of potato salad and cole slaw were also delicious. Perfect pit stop on a long days drive. Wish we lived closer, but will now think about swinging by whenever we’re even remotely close. No pictures of food because after the first bite it disappeared quickly. But I did take a picture of the outside.
