The Saloon is the best of a small-town diner, bar, and music venue all in one location. Local ownership and great food make this a terrific spot, unique in the area.Friday night fish fry is awesome, too.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. If you are within 100 miles come here. The food is EXCELLENT the service is WONDERFUL and the owner is FABULOUS . MANY menu items to choose from , there is something for everyone. I love the homemade Queso and cooked to order chips . Cooked to order. Who does that . The Old Maroon Saloon does that's who. The chicken fried steak was great and I love their salads. The chopped steak I loved as well. On Saturdays they server super breakfast options...
We had plans to have a party at the local pizza place and the night before they sent a mesaage that they were not going to open that day. I asked The Maroon Saloon if we could use the back room. He was very accommodating for our last minute request and the food was great. We highly recommend trying them out. We will definitely be going back when we come to town.
