We always make an effort to have breakfast at Elva’s when we visit the Rio Grande Valley. It never disappoints!! Delicious flour tortillas, perfectly made huevos rancheros, excellent barbacoa, and perfect migas. Can’t say enough about the awesome and friendly service.💗

Their potato tacos were not good at all ..the potatoes were huge like steak potatoes from a bag and were not cooked well...they looked raw and were hard when you bit into it..I noticed their cooks were not wearing hair nets..
A small mom and pop restaurant with home cooked Mexican food. Elva’s does breakfast the best!! I love the huevos divorciados plate.

Very nice staff. Sweet and accommodating. We were looking for a spot to eat as we left the island and this place had wonderful food. They were about to close, but they still served us and were very kind about it.
