We love cheesecake & Stephanie’s always a stop when I visit back home, but this time I was really disappointed and I do take a little blame for sending someone else to pick up for me.
But the cake I ordered was nothing I asked for I told them I wanted exactly a cake that was pictured in there insta & asked if it can have a strawberry filling and I was told yes but no filling was added to cake, and decor didn’t even look a little similar or in the purple color pictured in insta. Which the first person I spoke to I told them details and when pic on insta was posted to they can reference.
Also I had to call 3 times to make sure I would make a deposit and I have a cake for my mom.
Very disappointed!

7/25/25 Went to pick up a cheesecake for my mothers birthday and the owner was very nice! She gave me a small slice for the inconvenience of waiting for the cheesecake. I will be ordering another one in September! Great customer service!!

Ordered a cheese cake for my 70th birthday 🎂. Half mango 🥭 half strawberry 🍓. Cake was beautiful and delicious the mango slices on top were beautifully sliced. Best birthday ever.

I am really sad that my daughter’s cake did not come out what I had ordered. I called asking if they do flat sheet cakes and they told me yes. they said they could do a two tier flat sheet cake with the 2nd tier being a top layer lemon & bottom layer cheesecake The 1 top tier just pure vanilla. Well it was the complete opposite. It was two separate round cakes, not even stacked on top of each other. I had to stack them which is the bakers job not mine. If they were worried about it sinking they shouldnt have made such a heavy cake. PLUS many bakers are able to stack cakes. The cheesecake was such a thin layer of cheesecake to where I didn’t even see the cheesecake at first when cutting. AND the cheesecake was with the vanilla cake not with the lemon like I had ordered. At first when they told me it was miscommunication that they don’t offer flat sheet cakes I let it slide (even though they said they could do it) But when I saw such a thin layer of cheesecake with the wrong flavor .. is why I’m writing this review. I paid 210-220 dollars for a cake that was not worth it unfortunately. The flavor is decent but with the wrong mishaps it was not worth it. The design wasn’t matching the price either. I’ve seen more decorated cakes priced at $210

I had her cake before at a friends birthday party and I really liked it. so that’s why I ordered from her but my cake was not the same at all. So she isn’t consistent either😞

we hadn't stopped by Stephanie's Cheesecakes since about a month after they opened a few years ago, but now that they moved to their new location it's so much more convenient! I had the sopapilla cheesecake cup and was in HEAVEN. It was soooo good! my husband and daughter had the regular cheesecake cup and added strawberry topping and enjoyed theirs as well. we'll definitely be back!

Sad that they deny a boy child the bathroom, and a 3 yr old, have a heart. Their service is horrible, most cakes are pre order, why even have a public shop?

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "Stephanie’s Cheesecakes: A Slice of Heaven in Los Fresnos, TX" I had heard the legends. I had seen the drool-worthy pictures. But I had to know—was Stephanie’s Cheesecakes in Los Fresnos really that good, or was the internet just playing with my emotions? So, I grabbed some friends (because if I was going down this cheesecake rabbit hole, I wasn’t going alone), and we each picked a flavor to test the hype. We tried the mixed berry cheesecake (fruity perfection), the apple pie cheesecake (basically autumn in a slice), the strawberry cheesecake (classic, yet somehow even better), the turtle pecan cheesecake (so rich I briefly considered financial planning), the lemon cheesecake (a zesty dream), and the original (so good it didn’t even need toppings to shine). Every single one was just the right amount of sweet—decadent but not overpowering, creamy but not too heavy. Basically, the perfect balance between indulgence and making you feel like you can totally justify another bite… or three. Final verdict? Stephanie isn’t just making cheesecakes—she’s out here ruining all other desserts for me. I might need a new gym membership, but I regret nothing. 11/10, will be back (probably sooner than I should).
