The inside is kind of set up like a cafeteria, not fancy by any means, but not terrible either, just not what we’re used to. Not a huge selection of food but it was good. Overall worth going to if you like BBQ.

Mustang Creek catered the 2025 Jackson Electric CoOp Annual meeting held at the Bay City Civic Center. I had never had your food before and was really impressed by the quality and taste of your brisket and pinto beans. Not over-salted as many do. The brisket was very lean, and fall-apart tender. Really good sauce, nice potato salad & coleslaw. Next time I'm passing by, you have one more customer! Great job, and thanks to JEC for choosing you to cater this event.

Mustang creek is a great place for some BBQ open tues.through sat till 230 pm. Food is great service can't ask for no better it's in the country but we'll worth the drive 45 mins for me and they offer all you can eat brisket ribs ect. If ur driving towards Victoria make sure you stop by and enjoy the food you won't find a great deal for lunch

Mustang BBQ is in the middle of nowhere, which is why we stopped and ate there. The meat for the meal plates and for the buffet was all the same, so we paid for the buffet. We had brisket, pork ribs, sausage (both regular and jalapeño), and smoked chicken. None of them were bad, but none were great either. This was just really basic, cheap quality BBQ. There isn't anything wrong with that, but this just isn't a BBQ place that I would go back to.
