I'm always out searching for the next best fried chicken joint out here in North Texas, and I think I found it (until I find the next one, that is!). Very small joint but boy oh boy, the chicken here is fantastic. I tried the 3 tender combo, spicy and with fried okra and a dinner roll on the side. Gotta say, the tenders were fried to perfection, crispy on the outside, moist and tender on the inside. The okra, also breaded, seasoned and fried to perfection. The spicy option...

I always have a fantastic experience at this location! The staff are incredibly kind, and I've consistently enjoyed a great meal every time I've visited. The 3-piece fried chicken meal is definitely a winner!

Went into golden chick today like usual and was shocked when I was told they were out of everything. The manager working that day told me that the owner is really cheap and didn't order enough, so instead he gave me this. I would come back again to see this manager and thank him for the best chicken ever.
