One of the BEST in Texas! We were actually surprised at how good everything was. Super fresh, even the tortilla was fresh made. 2 types of salsa, tacos, beef enchiladas, and the truly amazing chicken enchiladas. I ate my plate clean. WOW!!!

Went and ordered a carne guisada, and a papas a la Mexicana for a vegetarian, the older woman taking my order repeated back to me papas a la Mexicana, I said yes, PAPAS A LA MEXICANA, they gave me huevos a la Mexicana. I don't live in luling and their phone goes straight to this person hasn't set up a voicemail. I paid almost $10 for two tacos, and they messed it up. Ridiculous. The carne guisada has a odd red sauce instead of the classic brown, it's a bit odd. Not a fan of it. Won't come here again.

What a wonderful and delicious culinary surprise. This family operated restaurant provides cordial and attentive service. The menu offers wide variety of choices. The chips and two salsas brought to the tables are addictive; the green has quite a kick.
Kid-friendliness: Something for everyone.
Wheelchair accessibility: Tables are NOT crammed closely together. A diner using a wheelchair can easily sit at any table.

My food was fine but my wife said her beef fajitas was a bit chewy, my only complaint was, the chicken fried steak meal advertised a salad. The small cup I got for ranch was the same size portion of the salad. I literally was able to eat it with 2 bites... They should remove the salad off the menu of chicken fried steak and just offer it as pico or something or just give it with the meal as a surprise or as a presentation piece. When I see salad advertised apart of a meal I get excited for a nice app. ?
I hope I'm not saying the name wrong but Clara was a super nice host/server and made sure I had everything before I left with my meals to-go.
