Brisket was moist, perfectly done, nice looking bark, but I did not notice much of the seasoning. If the smoke flavor is what you are after, then great, but it lacked salt and pepper to me. I do my own brisket and don't go heavy for the kids, but this was bland. Same with sausages. Ribs tasted the best as well as all sides. Chicken 4/5, sausage 3/5 (also notch much seasoning).

I will rather spend more at Blacks next time.

After being in Houston almost 10 years and eating at the Luling City Market off Richmond I was shocked to learn that neither it OR the city market across the street from this location have anything to do with this establishment OTHER than the fact that they are both a knockoff of the Original Luling BBQ right down to the sauce. Food and service are BOTH better than the other two and I won’t waste any time going to the City Market in Luling after going here.

A BBQ place in Seguin is way better than Luling bbq. My ratings on the food: brisket-6; pork ribs-6; sausage-7; beans-2; potato salad-6. The sides here were seriously lacking. The only options were boiled beans and potato salad. Not enough choices. And for dessert the only offer is pudding 🤷🏻‍♂️. The meat at was fairly dry. I was really disappointed here. I was hoping for better.
