I had a horrible experience here. I ordered a ham sandwich to which I took the tooth pick out and one was broken so I expected to find it later on. Upon opening my sandwich I found a hair, I kindly told a young man, and he said “Would you like me to remove the hair or would you like a new one”. Of course I asked him to remake the sandwich. He then brought me a “new” sandwich, I noticed that it was the first initial sandwich because I ended up finding the broken piece of the toothpick in the “new”. Of course I was upset and I walked back to the table to let my family know what had happened and NO ONE ever came back up to us to ask how they could fix it or if we wanted a refund. Do not recommend this place at all!

Such a cute spot! I'm in Luling for a few days this week and I decided to have lunch at Mom's Front Porch after seeing great reviews on Yelp. There is no menu in the restaurant, they describe themselves as a "walking talking menu". You have the options of white or wheat bread, a variety of meats, and a few selection of toppings. I decided on a half chicken salad sandwich and it was very good. A generous helping of chicken salad on homemade white bread. I will probably be back tomorrow for lunch, and recommend this spot to anyone passing through Luling.
I wanted to love this place..but.. it was not that great... purchased a blueberry muffin, apple muffin and a chocolate chip cookie.. the chocolate chip cookie was burn and chewy.. the muffins were alright.. coffee tasted burn .. no display of prices... the best part was the service!
