I live in Seguin and have been to that RR many times and they definitely provide you with good stuff. Prices are high but the portions here are good.
I needed to eat in Luling and I was so dissapointed in my 2 catfish plate. They were tiny and cost $18 with 2 small sides. I understand inflation but nobody serves a fried catfish filet just a little bigger than McNugget. Service was friendly portions were terrible. All I got

Every time I’ve eaten their chicken and other people I know always get sick throwing up or otherwise I don’t know what they cook their chicken in but it’s not good. Would not recommend this place.

Rustys in luling always was good except this time was not that good, fries were burnt chicken was super crispy. Hope next time is better. They forget my order of gravy also

The food was excellent, no issues there. My only complaint was I wanted to eat inside after driving straight for a few hours before heading to my hotel, but the interior was run down and plain outdated. I don't think there was a bathroom there. But I MAY be wrong, I'm just not sure. I went in and quickly decided to take my food back to the hotel, never my first option. But the food was excellent , so, no problems there.
Good place for chicken, the livers take a while extra to cook so if that’s on your mind get there a bit early and account for an extra 20 minutes or so, other than that the chicken was good, well seasoned and crispy as can be. Crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside, as it should be
