Wow, this place is amazing, totally worth stopping in to get some sourdough and sweets. The ladies here are extremely helpful and are truly expert bakers to say the least. We tried a couple different sourdoughs and a few different types cookies and the banana bread, and it was all amazing. I ended up buying more than I could eat , so I froze it and packed it in my luggage and brought it back to Colorado with me:)

The cookies, cakes, goodies, and bread sell themselves. All the different stuff here is great. Always something delightful in the case. Beware though, if there is something specific that you are looking for call ahead. They only make cinnamon rolls on Saturday. They are great! But they didn't make them last Saturday. So anyone coming in from San Marcos, Seguin, or Lockhart would have been disappointed. No tables inside so no dine in. There are benches outside

We made an hours drive to Luling for some BBQ but the highlight of our trip was discovering Swoonworthy Sourdough Artisan Bakery. We purchased one sourdough loaf, one loaf of sourdough with garlic and rosemary, and two fudge brownies with nuts. The loaves are lovely and everything was delicious! The owner shared her excitement over her bread oven from Italy. Well worth the drive!

What a great little bakery! We stoped in for lunch at City Market but the gem is next door at Swoonworthy Sourdough. Greeted with a friendly hello when we walked in and very helpful staff. Bread and sweets are delicious! Will definitely stop next time we are in Luling.

This bakery is amazing!!! They have the best sourdough bread you will ever have!! The sweets are incredible, the cookies are soft and moist! You must try the garlic herb and cheese you will fall in love!! Best bakery in Texas by far!

Love having this little bakery in town! Bread and sweet treats are delicious! Molasses cookies, cheesecake and savory scones are my favorite! There’s a good variety daily and something for everyone! Prices are great!

I absolutely love this little local
bakery in Luling, Tx!! I live in Houston and frequently visit my mom in San Marcos! Each time I pass through Luling, stopping at Swoonworthy is a must! There’s nothing I haven’t thoroughly enjoyed here….from the Sourdough breads, to the delightful cookies, and cobbler….YUM and YUM!! Ms. Kelly, the owner, and all the young ladies that you encounter are always super friendly and will chat it up with you with a smile!! Make sure to stop in if you’re ever in the Luling area!!

The smell of freshly baked pecan pie drew me to this place, and it was perfect.
I purchased the pie and some Bourbon Vanilla Peach Jam , tase is epic made by local artisans i also got a sourdough date loaf that went perfect with the jam.
You will not be disappointed here.

Went there today and got a couple cookies , zucchini bread and banana pudding ! And even tried the homemade hamburger buns !!! Every thing was amazing delicious!! We wanted to turn right around and go back 😂 but we knew they were closing ! We will definitely be back !! The banana pudding was the best we have ever had !!! And the ladies were so sweet ❤️

Everyone should visit Swoonworthy Sourdough bakery! This is the cutest, friendliest and tastiest place around. Kelly not only has amazing sourdough breads, sweet treats, and refrigerated desserts like cheesecakes, she also has handmade soaps, homemade jellies and salsas, handmade dog treats, and adorable decor and gift items! This is a not-to-be-missed place!! So so so good!!
