Sometimes the prices for everyday items are higher by a whole dollar or more, but it's always clean inside, air-conditioned ( other stores aren't even courteous to turn ac on,),and they chat with you in line as though you were a human. Yeah human. (... not trying to waste time just connecting like real people; plus deaf friends use text to communicate or AVA speaking app and they roll with it) and everyone feels accepted and welcome. That's worth a dollar extra!

Great place to shop. Very clean and organized inside and the staff here is very friendly. They have a bakery and a place to pick up plate lunches. Would recommend swinging by here if you need to do some grocery shopping in town.

Nice people. They closed the Vidor, Tx store when they should have closed the Lumberton store. Brookshire Brothers should have done their homework before opening this store. Market Basket had no business when they were there.

This store is always clean, the employees are super friendly and always helpful. They have a nice meat selection and fruit and vegetable department. If your looking for houseplants or flowers they have a nice selection as well! Very fast service if you are in a hurry you rarely have to wait a few minutes.

The store was exceptionally clean and organized, to the point of being very impressive. The three employees I interacted with were very friendly. To me, this is a reflection of the management.One of the things that I really liked was that they sell a particular butter that you can't find just anywhere, and that's the rolled Amish style butter. Now, I know where to find it!And the deli is one of the best, especially of course their fried chicken!!But I do have to make an observation. Prices are relatively high, like they seem to be at all Brookshire Brothers stores. And I was somewhat disappointed in the selection of meat and the meat prices as well. I will just have to buy meat at another local store.This store is definitely convenient for the speed of getting in and out pretty quickly and for grabbing a quick good meal from the deli to take on the go.
