I love the food here and normally the people working here, However today I came in and I saw an older lady who I guess works there she came in and started yelling and cursing at the employees who were currently working. They seemed to be doing their job but she seemed strung out or something but yelling at the older boy seemed to be in his teens for random things. She hadn’t been there but 2 mins and started yelling at this poor kid. I turned around and walked out. That’s not how an employee needs to be treated. Come to find out she’s a manager that’s not good. She looked like she was on something and mad at the world and taking it out on them. I have been here before and have seen these two other employees. Both boys are very nice. I don’t know what her deal was. But something needs to change. She is not manager material.

This place reminds me of a place my Dad used to take me for Barbecue… It’s small, cozy and a Texas icon… It has been a staple for Texas Barbecue for over 50 years and still going strong… I can’t express enough how good of a job they do for catering events also… Big or small, from family get togethers to corporate functions they provide it all… Drinks, deserts, cups, plates, tongs, serving spoons, ice (the good small crunchable kind), sides and of course barbecue brisket, smoked chicken, ribs, pulled pork, smoked turkey and sausage… All made fresh daily on premises so be sure to let everybody know that Dickies Barbecue can handle all your catering needs… Dickies makes good hot fresh food easily accessible… Thank y'all for being there for me when I am craving that smokey meat flavor I grew up with…
