I give the service 1 star due to the owner blocking the handicap ramp and then being upset when asked to move her Lexus so my friends daughter who is in a wheelchair could use the ramp. Noone should not be blocking the handicap ramp at all for any reason.

We love to go to kotoyama. Food is always good. Only real complaint is I like to sub for spicy crab meat in any of my rolls and the spicy is very inconsistent. One time it's barely any spice and next it's hot. They need an actual recipe and not just wing it. Also need to get some blackout blinds for that sun beaming in the afternoons. But will definitely be back on the regular.

This was my first time coming here. I met a friend for lunch. There was no wait when I got there. (11:45am) The service was good. The food was good. I will be back when I am ready for more sushi.

i didn’t get my mushrooms or and of the extra sauce i asked for and they called me and rudely rushed me to come pick my order up.
Horrible experience! Food was terrible. The shrimp and lobster was so tuff and chewy " Unedible"! The owner was SO rude and tried to tell me no it wasn't and that it was cooked perfect and proceeded to eat off my plate ? Will never waist my money here again!

My Wife ordered Seafood Combo yesterday, " shrimp, scallops, Lobster" and it was over cooked, everything tasted chewy,, lobster tasted like over cooked chicken, and so did shrimp,,, explained to service about it,, then the manager came out with an attitude, saying thats how its suppose to be cooked, and even went on to eat some of the food in front of us, still with an attitude,, gave us half off, i didnt want to argue with the little fella anymore,,, thats going to be last time we go there again,,,,, if customer is willing to pay 30 bucks for a plate, you might want to get cooks who know what their doing ,,
