My fiancé and I get a chocolate malt everywhere we go that has them and we have yet to find the perfect one! Quenchies was good. It was just chocolate ice cream and a little bit of malt powder. Typically a chocolate malt is vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, and then a good little bit of malt powder. It’s suppose to taste like the whopper candy. Theirs tasted like chocolate ice cream. Which wasn’t bad!!!! It just wasn’t super malt tasting.
I didn't know this place existed until someone mentioned it when I said I was wanting a snow cone. I got a mini snow cone, one child got a 1 scoop ice cream cone, and the other two got a milk shake. It was a little over $20. I think that's a bit high. The young girl behind the counter was kind.
I’m a server at a restaurant, so I know customer service can be hard to deal with. Every time I come Makayla (sorry if I spelt that wrong) is just amazing! She goes above and beyond and makes the trip to Quenchies a delightful experience.
