I was in town for a funeral, at the drive thru. This is not my typical location. For the past ten years I’ve had the same order: a tall dark roast with a double shot in a grande cup with a side of steamed cream, so that I can add how much cream I want myself. In all that time, regardless of which city I was in, I’ve never been told it was a problem.
At this location I was told that they aren’t allowed to give me a side of steamed cream, they can only put it in the coffee. I was truly baffled. When I mentioned that I’ve had the same order for ten years and it was never a problem, the barista said “Well, welcome to Lumberton.”
Then I guess her supervisor took over and told me it would be fine, that they could give me a side of steamed cream as I clearly had not been told about their policy change.
So I got my side of steamed cream and coffee and drove away. When I got back to where I was staying I realized that they had topped off my coffee with cream, making it super light in color. It was ruined. But I wasn’t about to go back. I will not go back the next time I’m in town.

This was my Iced matcha ( $8.66 ) they put 99% cream cold foam and 1% matcha , so I paid $9 for cream cold foam , I wanted to return but I was to late for work , never going there again .

I walked in wasn’t greeted the lady wiping the glass just looked at me like i wasn’t standing there. I am a DoorDash worker so i was picking a order up and nobody was friendly guess cause im black this happen on 7/2/25 @ 4:50ish two young lady’s was there never again

Weather for a lavender latte all the lavender was on the bottom they didn't give me a straw to mix it and the total was $6.44 for a grande. And then you want a tip on top of that 😄 I will not be going to the Starbucks ever again

Took my pup for his 1st pupaccino. 1 week post surgery. Employee stated I had to purchase something in order to get a pupaccino 😡 I don't like Starbucks coffee, but thought I'd treat my pup because he has done amazing. Unfortunately, there was someone behind me or I would have left. Never again will I go to Starbucks!!!

By far the worst Starbucks I've been to. The store can be empty and you will sit at the counter for 15-20 minutes before anyone acknowledges you. Its a shame because this store could be so much better and used to be so much better.

Coffee has become a crucial part of my morning routine and I just have to shout out the SWEETEST barista at the Lumberton location.
Ms. Tracy, you are the epitome of what amazing customer service is!
She is always fast and efficient, with a warm and bright smile. She will take the time to get straws, napkins, or any extras if needed as well. I’ve had several shove my drink at me and shut the window without looking back. I know those things seem small and insignificant, but coming from customer service myself, it’s all the difference in the world. I hope she has the wonderful day she deserves. 🫶🏼

Been waiting in the drive through line for over 45 minutes. Only reason I haven’t left is that we’re stuck in line… absolutely ridiculous.

I keep trying to give these people the benefit of the doubt but it stops today. They have gotten my order wrong a few times over the last few months and most of the time they are pleasant about it. And I try to be nice because I understand mistakes happen but I’ve had to go back through the line for missing items more than once. Today, I wanted to use my stars for my drink. When it was time to pay i asked to use my stars and held out my phone on the scan and pay page like I do every single time I have ever redeemed stars. The lady rudely told me to click over to scan only. I was like oh ok, I’ve never had to do that before. I was really just wondering if that was new but after I said that her attitude was awful and even when I said thank you when she handed me the drink, I got a grunt back. There is no reason for the attitude. None! And my drink doesn’t taste right. I won’t be back.
Today I just got coffee for the free on Monday. I paid for my drink and extra brown suger it was not put in there I've paid for extra in both are drinks and they don't put it in the drink there's times someone else made the drink and it was awesome some of the employees are awesome that gave been since day one and some that act like they've payed for my drink this particular store stopped giving extra in the little cups cause when you order it they still don't put it in there. They say they do. I've watched them make the drinks and they have not asked him to put the extra in my cup and they have not I've paid for the extra every single time that I've gotten it. I don't know if they stop doing it because of the cups that are being used I've always asked for pup cups times I've given me a small glass which why would you give someone a small glass like that for extra sugar when there's barely anything in it that's a waste of paper for the company a waste of cups now I can see that being a point now the pup cups that's what they should've used some of the employees act like there paying for my drink they have been rude more than once at the Lumberton store there are a few who are great
