The food was ok, but not great, and is overpriced, however, the service was excellent. The booth seating was not comfortable. The seating areas seemed like it was wherever they could put a table they put one. The parking lot is very small (too small for the amount of seating inside)and is difficult to get in and out of. It seemed like there is additional parking in the yard of the house right next door to the restaurant. It is a very odd situation.

We absolutely love Tia Juanita’s in Lumberton, and a huge part of that is Sandra! We see her at least once a week—sometimes more—and we always ask for her because she’s amazing. Sandra treats us like family and always makes us feel special. Her service is consistently outstanding, friendly, and attentive. Tia’s has great food, and Sandra truly makes every visit even better. We wouldn’t want to be waited on by anyone else!

My wife and I haven't been here in awhile and we were both wanting some seafood, so we came to Tia Juanita's! The food is always great, their wait staff is always on their game, and it just has a great ambience, we really enjoy it!!! I ordered the Fish, Shrimp, and oyster plate and my wife had the Shrimp Broche. I also ordered two Boudain balls with Jalapeno Ranch dip for an appetizer. And we really enjoyed it!!! It was so good! I wish I had got the name of our waitress, because she really kept tabs not only on our table, but the rest of her customers as well! She was really good! Another man, maybe the manager also came by to ask if everything was good and if we needed anything! Just really good people here! We love this place because of the people and the ambience here!

Marcus our waiter was very attentive and just moving around to and around seemed like he was dancing his energetic walk. Definitely showed he loves his job.
