I have to say that growing up I liked Churches chicken but now I have no idea what they did but I don't like it. I am not hard to please but if I can be honest the food offended me. Flavor, temperature, coating texture, it was a no on all fronts. The okra was acceptable. I know this is a harsh review and I hope they get better but I won't be returning.the staff was wonderful but the food was not. I would have rather gone to McDonald's and wasted my money there instead.

$29 for 2 5 piece tender combos is ridiculous! Food was mediocre and definitely not worth the price. I do t think I’ll be visiting churches chicken again.

I really like this location. The chicken strips here are always excellent, but the gravy looks a little off, but still tastes great. Okra always looks burnt, but tastes good.
I can't believe how much it costs thou for some chicken strips though. Costs at these types of places have gotten out of hand

Church's quality has gone down hill! I'm done with this franchise...the chicken is saturated with oil.

No jalapeños, no white gravy, dirty tables, 3 customers. It is located in the same parking lot as HEB. How can you have a sign saying church’s jalapeños give their chicken a kick and not have any?

Sometimes it’s a little salty. The chicken is usually fresh it’s a hit or miss not as hot as I would like or it may be missing batter on some of it so then the chicken is red in that spot and looks old. Sometimes it’s greasy as well it’s truly a hit or miss.

The okra not always fresh which is a disappointment last time I got old okra mixed with freshly fried okra so imagine my disappointment after waiting for freshly fried okra.

Chicken strips are always cold I don’t understand why though.

The chicken sandwich I guess had a overhaul but not in a good way. It used to be a decent piece of chicken meat, great bun with pickles one of my favs.
Now it's a very thin piece of chicken on a smashed bun. No flavor, chewy, just not good . Lost a customer for sure.

I ordered a 2 piece dark meat. The chicken was old and dry. The grease tasted old. Wonder if this Church's uses trans fat to fry their chicken.
