It’s a hole in the wall bakery but their Mexican pastries are excellent. It’s an old building next to the highway outside lytle. Actually west of lytle on hwy 132. This is authentic Mexican panadería and very good. None of that HEB Mexican pastry that’s prepackaged. That stuff is loaded with preservatives. Dulce bakers make their stuff there. I live over 30 miles away and sometimes make that half hour drive just to get some pastries.**EDIT late 2023: I stopped going after I bought some apple turnovers. After purchasing the turnovers I drove home and decided to eat one. Tasted kinda funky. It turned out there was mold growing on the bottom on both turnovers. I don’t think they rotate or remove day old or old pastries.

Tamales only $12 per dozen. Bakery goods are a variety of Mexican and Donuts. Great service with both Spanish and English speaking. Great experience each time I go. One taco is filling. $3.50 for two tacos with a 20 oz bottle of soda. So many bakery delectables to pick from.

Nice friendly staff. The Mexican sweet bread is very good. So are their flour tortillas. They also make tacos and on the weekends they have Menudo, tamales, and barbacoa. The tamales are large and full of meat. Their barbacoa is all meat with no fat or grease. Everything sold food wise is very good and the prices are excellent.

The sweet bread has many selections, including big cinnamon rolls and creme puffs. On Saturdays, they sell a variety of tacos, which are very yummy. My favorite is the chilies rellenos both cheese and meat filled. I buy five at a time because my grand kids love them as do I. Staff are great!

This place is the bomb!!! The conchas are fresh, sweet and soft, the chicharrones are delicious. And the fresh flour tortillas they sell by the dozen are the best you will find, they are just like homemade. I absolutely love and recommend this bakery.
