I had a local meeting at the Lytle Community Center, and had time to have breakfast beforehand. I discovered it via the Yelp app and was pleasantly surprised. Warm & welcoming, I was greeted as soon as I walked in. I could see some of the locals eating here so II new I was in the right place. Ham, eggs, eggs, toast were the order of the day. Toast not burnt, hash browns cooked without being burnt, a large coffee cup. Great way to start the day! Oh don't be alarmed. There are signs posted all over requesting you turn down your phone and game volume for the privacy of others. Sad you have to be told, but as was mentioned to me by the waitress, the older customers that wear hearing aides pick up on the noise more so so its to help them out. Make sense to me. Will definetly be back again, when I can.

Would you like a nice family setting to sit down and enjoy real comfort food? We've been here 3 times, and we definitely will keep coming back. It's quiet, friendly, and very cozy. Each time I go, I pick something different from the menu....can't wait to go back!!!Please don't forget to tip the cook!

Went here last Saturday and was told about the brisket special ($13.99). Sounded good so I ordered 2 for me and my cousin.I’ve never eaten shoe leather but presumed it would taste and look like this.It was so dry that even ketchup (only option to moisturize it) wouldn’t make it go down smooth.The whole plate was served Luke warm at best and what’s up with that single slice of cheap white bread?!No rolls or biscuits to go along.Service started out decent with the waitress refilling our sweet teas but quickly turned bad when waitress barked from 10ft away if I could turn down sound on my phone. Only had it half volume as I was showing my cousin a vacation video. felt embarrassed and uncomfortable as other customers heard this.It just felt weird after that and I felt like we did something wrong, as she seemed emotional after and you could feel the tension.We left immediately and although this sounds so cliché..won’t be back.If you go here just don’t order the brisket and don’t play sound on your phone and maybe you’ll have a better experience IDK.
