Wife and I stopped in Saturday at 6:30pm for a bite to eat, and were the only ones in there. Employees were inattentive, most on cell phones, sitting at tables. Food portions were way too small for the amount of money spent. Ordered two 2 meat plates with drinks and was charged 30 plus dollars. Sliced beef was cut way too thick (3/4") and 2 little ribs. No free ice cream for the kids at this one folks. I've seen restaurants come and go like the wind out here, (ask Fudruckers) because of poor management. Need management changes or this one won't survive.1/24 They have closed this business down permanently. I warned them, and they didn't listen. Hopefully a successful restaurant will make use of the building. If you want good BBQ in the area, I suggest Slap N Good in Kemp & GBC, or B4 BBQ in Mabank

Absolutely hands down the worst place in the Dickeys Corporation and needs to be under new management or closed down completely!!! They will steal your money off your card and blame it on your bank!! I ordered 7 chop beef sandwiches in drive-thru and paid $79.49 however my card was charged $95.39. When I called to get it taken care of, the store manager was EXTREMELY RUDE and told me it’s my banks fault and they made a mistake not his store!!! When I told him it’s not the banks fault, he said well what are you trying to say, we stole the money?!?! He then told me he would not take care of it or do anything to help and that I don’t have to come back, hung up on me and then took the phone off the hook so it would ring busy!!! He wouldn’t give me his name because he said his name didn’t matter!! So I have called the corporate, I have reported this manager and this store!! Not only will they steal your money, the food is horrible!! Don’t ever ever waste your time, money, or hunger on this Dickeys!! It is absolutely disgusting and WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!

First time eating here because I purchased 2 of the local school kids discount cards to be used at local restaurants until 09/2024. After ordering our 2 meat plate and 2 drinks to get the 2nd 2 meat plate free the lady marked the discount off my 1st card that I used. I was initially upset and said that was supposed to be good for a year but was informed it was a management decision so I conceded. After eating the 2 dinners I immediately regretted getting upset that they marked off the discount on my first card and would gladly drop my second card by and let them mark it off of that one as well so I'm never tempted to eat there again. Really is no reason to mark off those discounts I doubt they get used more than once anyways.

Ribs in No way we're falling off the bone. Meat was so dry and so overdone with liquid smoke that's all I tasted. Only got 2 small ones the length of my fingers. Brisket was dry and had no flavor even tho it had a good smoke ring.Mac n cheese was pretty good. Okra was amazing and pretty much the whole thing out of $20 I ate smh. The little roll they give u was hard as a brick.BBQ did have a good flavor.Great sweet tea and customer service but food severely lacked.

Sausage scorched my mouth, I brought this to the employees attention and he didn't offer me anything. I had to use a napkin to wipe down my table since no other clean table was available. The chicken was so dry and all the bbq sauces were all filled with very hot spicy bbq sauce. I have medical issue where hot spicy food is not good for me, I left hungry and paid over 40 bucks for 2 meals. I just want the owner of this establishment know he has employees that poorly represent his business will run it in the ground treating customers this way

I placed an order online using their website. They called me shortly afterwards to let me know they were out of pork ribs. All good, not a huge deal. I gave them a replacement meat for the ribs. When I pulled up to the drive up there was a worker out working on the smoker with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth. I pulled up at the window at the time that was stated on the order and it was ready on time. Once I got home, there was one out of the 5 meals that had all the correct meats in them. It was like they just randomly placed different meats in boxes. There was zero bbq sauce in any of the meals. The desert (brownie) that was ordered was also not there. The food was semi-Okay not great but not horrible. The people were friendly and polite. Unfortunately, this was a huge let down for a close to the house BBQ place and I won't return again.

Door dash an order. Got a 2 meat meal. I got 3 ribs 3 inches long all fat. The brisket was 2 pieces same size. No BBQ sauce on any of it did get 2 containers of maybe a teaspoon each. 4 teaspoons of potato salad and 4 tablespoons of baked beans (and I measured it). I order out on the lake a lot. There's only one place worse than this one . I say stay away
